Suggested January 2024 Ipad Event Pegged For October 22

According to AllThingsD, the reliable technology blog operated by The Wall Street Journal, Apple will be holding an iPad focused event exactly two weeks from today, on October 22. Now, Apple typically likes to run its big media events on Tuesdays and October 22 is a Tuesday. It’s also six days before Apple’s upcoming fiscal 2013 fourth quarter earnings release so it should be a boon for the stock price.

John Paczkowski, writing for AllThingsD:

People familiar with Apple’s plans tell AllThingsD that the company will hold its next invitation-only event on Tuesday October 22. The focal point of the gathering will the latest updates to the company’s iPad line, but new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks will likely get some stage time as well, I’m told.

The Loop‘s Jim Dalrymple, who often acts as an unofficial Apple mouthpiece, threw his proverbial ‘yep’ behind Paczkowski’s report.

So much about October 15.

It’s going to be a busy month: October 22 coincides with Nokia’s Innovation Reinvented showcase and comes just a day after the Surface 2 starts shipping. New iPad availability a week later, on November 1, sounds just about right to us.

Sources wouldn’t tell Paczkowski what venue Apple might use for the event.

Last year: iPhone 5 event: Tuesday 11 Sep. iPad event: Tuesday 23 Oct. This year: iPhone 5S/5C event: Tuesday 10 Sep. iPad event: duh

— John Gruber (@gruber) October 8, 2013

Last month, the company invited select members of the press to its Town Hall auditorium at the Cupertino, California campus to announce the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.

While the author confesses to being unable to confirm a location, “my understanding is that it will not be held at the California Theatre in San Jose” (where Apple unveiled the iPad mini), Paczkowski writes.

At any rate, the rumor-mill has been clamoring for a Retina iPad mini and of course a fifth update to Apple’s full-size 9.7-inch iPad. According to analyst notes, component leaks and crystal ball peering, the iPad 5 could include Apple’s fabled Touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated into the Home button.

Given the 64-bit A7 chip inside the iPhone 5s, it’s fairly safe to assume the tablet will run an improved version of the silicon, the A7X, containing a snappier CPU and faster graphics capable of driving the high-resolution Retina display.

Other possibilities include the iSight back camera bump to eight megapixels (up from the five-megapixel snapper on the iPad 4) and a dramatically thinner enclosure with iPad mini style design. A leaked Space Gray back shell suggests the iPad 5 could come in a few finishes similar to the iPhone 5s.

The second-generation iPad mini is the biggest mystery due to a bunch of conflicting rumors pointing to either a late-2013 or early-2014 release. Assuming Apple’s suppliers have successfully addressed yield issues plaguing mass manufacture of high-resolution 7.9-inch panels, Apple should also unveil the iPad mini 2 with Retina display come October 22.

As for the software, with OS X Mavericks hitting a Golden Master milestone last week and the bulk of Apple’s software development teams having been tasked with iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 code-named Syrah, it’s perfectly conceivable that the iPhone maker will give us a release date for Mavericks – either at the iPad event on October 22 or during a conference call with investors on October 28.

Haswell-driven MacBook Pro, you say?

Looking forward to upgrading my primary computer this Fall. I mean the iPad.

— Federico Viticci (@viticci) October 8, 2013

If the recent iMac update is anything to go by, Apple could easily refresh the MacBook Pro with a press release and a website update.

Last but not least, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a probably unlikely Apple TV hardware refresh.

So, who’s getting a new iPad and what are your expectations from this event?

Predictions For Tomorrow’s Apple Event

I’m glad Apple will finally unveil its new iSlate, iTab, iPad, or whatever it will be called tomorrow because I cannot stand all these “rumors” and “leaks” anymore.

Within the last few weeks every Apple-related blog has been leaking some rumors that are mostly unfounded and that only serve one goal: generating traffic to their sites. I don’t know if you noticed, but I didn’t post such article once because I don’t want to drag my lovely readers (that’s you) into these pointless conversations.

These websites spreading the rumors or leaks seldom make predictions though. They don’t, because predictions are your own opinions and they can be held accountable for them in case they are wrong.

I like to make predictions. Unlike most major iPhone blogs out there, I don’t have an editor watching over my shoulder and I can say whatever I want. If I am wrong, well, I’m wrong. The world doesn’t stop! If I’m right though (which I usually am), then no big deal either; I’ll just be in your face saying “I told you so” 😉

I made 10 predictions for the iPhone in 2010 at the beginning of the month and I stand behind these. Today, I’d like to make 5 predictions for tomorrow’s Apple event.

1. The Tablet Name

First things first. The name of this tablet. The rumors call it the iSlate. I really think iSlate is a terrible name. It just doesn’t sound right. To me it sounds like some torture instrument used by Iraqi insurgents. I have no idea what it could be called but my prediction is that it will not be called the iSlate. Apple has much more class than that.

2. The OS

Everyone is excited about OS 4.0. See, the iPhone OS and the tablet OS are pretty much the same so releasing OS 4.0 for the tablet tomorrow would mean releasing OS 4.0 for the iPhone too. Then what would Apple have to unveil for the iPhone in June? Just new hardware? No! I predict that the tablet will run OS 3.2. OS 4.0 will not be available until June or July of this year, when Apple announces the new iPhone.

3. The Launch Date

Don’t expect to get yourself a tablet anytime for the next few months. While many people think the tablet will be available for sale right away, I predict it won’t be available for a few months. If I had to give a date, I would say April 2010.

4. The Network

I’m really not sure about this one but I think Apple will go with Verizon. My heart tells me Apple will choose Verizon, but my head tells me they want to stick with AT&T. Which one should I listen to? Ok, I have to make a decision, I say Verizon!

5. AT&T’s iPhone Exclusivity

There has been many rumors saying that AT&T will lose the iPhone exclusivity tomorrow. I don’t think so. I believe this event is about the tablet, not the iPhone. Even if Apple chooses Verizon for the tablet, it doesn’t mean it will drop AT&T for the iPhone. I believe that after tomorrow, AT&T will remain the exclusive iPhone carrier in the US.

Top 5 Chinese Smartphones For Under $100 – October 2023

Top 5 Chinese Smartphones for Under $100 1. Xiaomi Redmi 6

As always, Xiaomi always gets the first row when budget phones are the subject. The first of which is the latest Xiaomi Redmi 6, a metal-built handset coming with a last gen MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core CPU along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (4GB and 64GB with a little extra).

The smartphone sports a relatively small 5.45-inch HD+ display, meanwhile in the camera department we find a 12.0MP + 5.0MP camera setup on the back, with selfies will be taken care of by a 5MP snapper.

Finally, the phone packs a good sized 3000mAh capacity battery, a rear fingerprint scanner and MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

2. Vernee T3 Pro

On the back of the phone we find a 13MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary to get photos with the bokeh effect, meanwhile at the front we find a 5MP selfie snapper.

3. LeEco Le 3 Pro

The LeEco Le 3 Pro keeps a spot on the list thanks to its really good specs to price ratio. The smartphone does indeed pack a powerful MediaTek Helio X23 and is coupled with 4GB of RAM, we then find 32GB of internal storage (not expandable, so beware) and a big 4000mAh capacity battery, all of that for around $100.

Photographs will be taken care of by a Sony IMX258 image sensor of 13MP with F/2.0 aperture which supports 4K video recording as well as 120fps slowmo videos. Meanwhile selfies are shot on an 8MP snapper.

Finally, the LeEco Le 3 Pro sports a 5.5-inch 16:9 IPS display with FHD 1080 x 1920 resolution coated in 2.5D curved glass.

4. Xiaomi Redmi 5A

Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A still keeps a spot on our list for packing some solid hardware at less than $100. The Redmi 5A does indeed come with the good and extremely power efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The handset is then equipped with a 5-inch HD display, meanwhile cameras are 13MP on the back and a 5MP at the front. Battery capacity tops at 3000mAh, which should be plenty enough for a day of heavy use. The smartphone is also available in a Global version for the readers living outside of China.

5. OUKITEL C12 Pro

This month, the HOMTOM C2 gets dethroned by Oukitel’s latest C12 Pro. The latter does indeed sport a more trendy design (at least for some) with a notch at the top of its larger 6.18-inch display, a bigger battery and WiFi 5Ghz. Beware though, the display resolution is only 480 x 996, so if you really care about pixel count, you should probably avoid this one.

The rest of the hardware is on par with other phones in this price range, going from the MediaTek 6739 quad-core CPU to the 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable.

Cameras are 8MP + 2MP on the back, meanwhile at the front you’ll find a 5MP selfie shooter. Other specs include a fingerprint scanner just below the two rear cameras, gravity sensor, compass and a good sized 3300mAh capacity battery.

Upcoming Drops: October 31 – November 6

Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.

Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.

Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we put together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look out for this week.

Art Gobblers

With the upcoming release of the Art Gobblers NFT collection, Roiland and Paradigm hope to give users across all of Web3 access to a self-sustaining creative ecosystem predicated on art creation.

Each of the 2,000 Art Gobblers set for mint won’t just be NFT characters done in Roiland’s signature style. Each Art Gobbler will also function as a self-sustaining, fully on-chain NFT art gallery. Via the production of $GOO tokens, holders can mint blank page NFTs, upon which they’re free to etch whatever art they desire. These newly-created art NFTs can be ‘gobbled’ by each Art Gobbler, which will be available for viewing, along with all the other art NFTs consumed by the Gobbler in question.

In the case of Danger Zone, this song tackles the cardinal sin of greed.

As fans of Inglor follow this series of weekly drops, they’ll be given an inside look at the artist’s life and background. Fifa 22 High Ping Issue On Pc

Are you facing a high ping issue in FIFA 22 on your Windows PC? Here is a complete guide to help you fix the high ping issue in FIFA 22. FIFA 22 is one of the most popular and loved football simulation video games by Electronic Arts. However, while playing the game, a lot of gamers reported experiencing a high ping issue due to which they were unable to play the game smoothly. Now, if you are one of the affected users facing the same problem, you can find the fixes in this post.

Why am I experiencing High Ping in FIFA 22?

Here are the potential causes of high ping in FIFA 22:

The issue could be triggered because of overheating or overloading of your router and modem. If the scenario is applicable, perform a power cycle on your router and modem to get rid of the problem.

Another reason for the same issue could be an unstable or weak internet connection. So, you can try optimizing your internet connection to fix the problem.

Inconsistency with your DNS server can also be one of the reasons you are facing high ping in FIFA 22. In that case, you can try switching to a more reliable DNS server e.g., Google DNS to resolve the problem.

It could also be caused due to your outdated network drivers. Hence, try updating your network driver to fix the problem.

If you have too many bandwidth-hungry programs running in the background, you are likely to face the issue at hand. So, close the unnecessary background programs to avoid the lag issue.

The corrupted DNS cache and other network settings can also cause the problem. So, flush the DNS cache to fix the issue.

Now that you know the scenarios that might trigger the problem try the below-mentioned fixes to eliminate the issue.

Fix FIFA 22 High Ping issue on PC

Here are the solutions you can try to fix the high ping issue in FIFA 22 on Windows 11/10 PC:

Restart your system and game.

Check your internet connection.

Update your network driver.

Change Power Management settings for your network.

Perform a power cycle on your networking device.

Flush DNS cache.

Set up Google DNS.

Close background apps.

1] Restart your system and game 2] Check your internet connection

It could be your internet connection which might be the main culprit that you are facing a high ping issue in FIFA 22. Hence, test your internet connection and make sure that you are connected to a stable and high-speed (good for gaming) internet connection. We recommend you use a wired connection as gamers prefer it over a wireless connection for better gaming performance. You can set up ethernet and see if the problem is resolved or not.

But, if you want to use a wireless connection, you can optimize your internet connection using the below tips:

Try detecting and fixing WiFi issues on your Windows PC.

You can also disconnect all other devices connected on the same networks to avoid bandwidth throttling.

You can check your internet speed and see if it is good enough for online gaming.

If your internet connection is not at fault, try the next potential fix.

3] Update your network driver

The issue could also be triggered because of your outdated network adapter drivers. Hence, if the scenario is applicable, go ahead and update your network driver to fix the issue.

You can also use the Device Manager app to keep your network adapter drivers. Apart from that, the official website of your device manufacturer can also be used to download and install the latest version of your network drivers. If you want to automatically update your network drivers, try free third-party driver updater software.

Once your network driver is updated, restart your PC and then launch FIFA 22 to see if the problem is resolved.

4] Change Power Management settings for your network

If the above solutions didn’t work, try changing power management settings for your network and see if it works for you. Here’s how to do that:

Firstly, press Win+X and select Device Manager from the shortcut menu.

Next, from the appeared context menu, select the Properties option.

After that, in the Properties window, go to the Power Management tab.

Then, make sure the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option is unchecked.

See if this helps you fix the problem.

5] Perform a power cycle on your networking device

The next thing you can do to get rid of the high ping issue in FIFA 22 is to power cycle your router/ modem. If there is a network issue due to a bad router cache, this should fix the issue for you. Here’s how to perform a power cycle on your router:

Firstly, turn off your router and then remove its power cords from the main switch.

Now, wait about a minute or so, and then connect the power cord back to the switch.

Next, turn on your router and then reconnect your PC to the internet connection.

Finally, launch FIFA 22 and check if the problem is gone or not.

If the problem is still not resolved, check out the next potential fix to resolve the problem.

6] Flush DNS cache

The issue at hand could be a result of the bulked-up DNS cache. Hence, you can try fixing the problem by flushing the DNS cache and resetting network settings. Here’s how to flush the DNS on Windows 11/10:

Firstly, launch the Command Prompt with administrator rights.

Now, enter the below commands in CMD one by one:

ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip reset netsh winsock

Once all the above commands are executed successfully, close CMD and see if the problem is resolved or not. If the issue still persists, you can try the next potential solution to resolve the problem.

7] Set up Google DNS

You may also consider setting up a more reliable DNS server on your PC to fix the issue. The problem might be caused due to DNS inconsistency. Hence, this method would fix the problem for you. You can try changing to the Google DNS server:

Firstly, tap on the Windows + R hotkey to evoke the Run dialog box and enter chúng tôi in it to bring up the Network Connections window.

Next, select the Use the following DNS server addresses button and enter the below addresses in the respective fields: Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

After that, select the Use the following DNS server addresses option and write the following addresses in their respective fields: Preferred DNS server: 2001:4860:4860::8888 Alternate DNS server: 2001:4860:4860::8844

Finally, try relaunching the FIFA 22 game and see if the problem is resolved or not.

8] Close background apps

That’s it!

Now read: There is a problem with your game’s setup in FIFA 22 or FIFA 21.

Why is FIFA 22 so laggy?

FIFA 22 might lag on your PC if your system doesn’t meet the minimum requirements to play the game. Apart from that, outdated graphics drivers, a VSync error, and an incorrect DirectX version can be other reasons for FIFA 22 being so laggy.

How do I fix high ping on FIFA 22?

To fix the high ping issue in FIFA 22, you can try optimizing your internet connection, power cycling your router, or updating your network adapter driver. Besides that, you can also try closing bandwidth-hogging programs, flushing the DNS cache, or setting up a Google DNS server. We have discussed these fixes in detail below, so check out.
