GO Contacts Sync Mod helps you spare these efforts by syncing your Outlook email contacts with your Gmail address book (including pictures, categories, and notes) automatically. There are a number ways this could be useful for you. You can preset which folders you want to sync with options to either keep the files on both devices or copy to PC and delete from Android or vice-versa. Your devices will automatically transfer files whenever connected to the same WiFi network without even a bit of your interaction.
We’ll show you how to setup wireless syncing between Android and PC using the free Syncme Wireless app from bvaisoft in the step-by-step guide below:
How to wirelessly sync data between Android and PC
First things first! Download the SyncMe Wireless app on your Android device. You don’t need to download anything on the PC though, the app uses Windows default file sharing feature between same networks.
icon-download Download SyncMe Wireless
Enable sharing on your Windows PC?
Step 2: On the properties tab, select Sharing and then select ‘Share’ option.
Step 5: On this dialog box, select the ‘Browse’ option as you see in the screenshot below. And then select the folder you just shared in the steps 1 and 2 above.
That’s it your PC is now set for wireless syncing with your Android phone. Let’s setup the SyncMe wireless app now on your Android device.
Setting up SyncMe Wireless app on Android
Step 1: Open the SyncMe Wireless app and select “Add computer” option to connect it to your PC.
Step 2: On this screen, the option to configure and connect your Android device with your PC is shown. For that, you would have to enter your log in details (which you use to log in to your PC) is required. First, select the ‘Computer Name’ option. Now, the app will scan the WiFi network and if everything goes fine, your PC will be shown and select it. Next select ‘User’ option and enter the User ID and password that you use to log in to your PC.
Step 3: If the log in details are correct and the computer responded correctly, you’ll be taken back to the sync menu. Here, you’ll see the list of connected PC’s. Select the corresponding connected PC from the list, and a pop-up with following options will show: Add sync folder, Edit and Delete. Edit and Delete options perform their intended functions. We’ll select the sync folder option from here.
Step 4: On the Add sync folder option, you’ll see many options. We’ll look closely on each option and what they does.
Select the first one – ‘Device folder’. This option lets you choose which folder in your phone is to be synced. Browse to the folder to be synced and select the folder.
Now, select the next option – ‘Computer folder’. This thing is similar to the last option, but lets you select the shared folder (which we did on the setup on PC). Browse and select the folder from the list.
Next is the Schedule option and Copy to option, Schedule lets you schedule syncs based on different conditions based on time, day, charge status or even based on WiFi network. Copy to defines how the sync is to be happened. That is, from computer to device/device to computer/etc. (see screenshots).
Step 5: Now go back and press OK. This will land you in the ‘sync jobs’ screen we saw in step 1. Select the shared computer and you’ll see a similar pop up we saw in step 2, but with an added option ‘Run’. Select it to begin the wireless sync setup between your PC and Android device. That’s all!
Gmail for Android is a great way to check your Gmail while you’re out and about. It’s fast, dependable, and keeps you in the know while you’re travelling or otherwise away from the computer. Many people will simply set up their Google accounts with Gmail and leave it on its default options, which is a perfectly valid means of using it.
Did you know, however, you can make Gmail for Android notify you with different sounds for each account? Or that you can set custom notifications for each label? Here’s how to customize your Gmail notifications in Android.Changing the Notification Sound
If you’re a little tired of your default notification noise, you can change it very easily. Open the Gmail app and press the three bars at the top-left. Then, scroll down to “Settings” and tap it.
Select the email address you use from the list that appears. Scroll down to “Inbox Notifications,” tap it, then tap “Sound” and change the notification to a sound you find more pleasing.Setting a Custom Sound for Each Address
Before we move on, let’s take a second look at what we just did. Namely, the fact that we selected an individual email address to change its notifications. If you put two and two together, you’ll realise that Gmail handles the notification of each address separately. This means you can set a different sound for each email address you have connected to Gmail for Android, so you know which address got an email from the tone alone.
To set a custom sound for each address, simply set up a sound as you did above for one address. Then, keep tapping the backward arrow at the top left until you return to the email list. Tap another address and repeat the above process to set a different sound for each address on your phone.Setting a Custom Sound for Each Label
Perhaps you’re not a fan of having multiple email addresses rattling around. Perhaps you have the one email address and an intricate labelling system to keep everything sorted. If you love the labels, you can set it up so each label has its own individual tone. Again, this will allow you to identify what kind of email is coming in by the notification sound alone.
To do this, select the email you want to customize as above. Then, scroll down to “Manage labels” and tap it.
You’ll see a list of labels on your account. There’s a chance that only Inbox and Sent have notification settings set up, and everything else is set to “Not synced.” If this is the case for you, don’t worry – we can fix that!
To start, tap the label you want to customize the settings for. If you’re already syncing this label, you should see all the notification options available to you. If you see the error message “Sync messages for this label to enable notifications,” then tap the “Sync messages” button at the top. Choose if you want to sync all emails or only those from the last thirty days. Once done, you can set up notifications as normal.Setting Notifications for “High Priority” Emails Only
If you have preferences set up that mark specific emails as high priority, you can tell Gmail to notify you only when one of these emails comes in. To set this up, select the email you want to apply this option to as above, then select “Notifications.” It should be set to “All.”
Choose “High priority only.”
Now you’ll only be notified when a high priority email comes in.Nicer Notifications
While Gmail works perfectly fine if left with its default settings, you can add an extra flair to your alerts. This allows you to identify the email address and/or the label of the oncoming email by its alert tone. Now you know how to set Gmail up for smarter notifications.

The popularity of smartphones really helps instant messages gain its user base, inching toward email as the king of the personal communication arena. While time-tested email is ideal for long-form text and big-sized files, instant message, with its mobility, shines the brightest for short and quick banters between buddies. That’s why email clients and instant messengers have their differences because they are created from a different perspective.
Slowly but surely the usage gap between the two is narrowing. Having two separate applications to serve more or less similar functions seems more and more obsolete. If you are a Gmail and Telegram user and agree with the statement, you can try Telegram’s Gmail Bot to receive your email within the Telegram client. The Rise of the Bots
One thing that separates Telegram from most other instant messengers out there is the existence of Bots. Once a favorite feature among hard-core IRC users a few decades back, bot technology made a comeback recently and powered several popular mobile applications, including Telegram.
But what are bots, specifically Telegram Bots? According to its official bot page, bots are “third-party applications that run inside Telegram.” Users can interact with bots by sending them messages, commands, and inline requests. The bots can be controlled using HTTPS requests to Telegram’s bot API.
Accompanied by an army of existing bots, Telegram users can do things that many other instant messengers can’t even imagine, such as:
Get customized notifications and news
Integrate with other services
Create custom tools
Build single and multiplayer games
Build social services
You can even create your bot with the help of the BotFather (It seems that pun is intended.), similar to the method we use to connect a WordPress blog with Telegram.Receive Gmail’s Incoming Mails in Telegram
To connect your Gmail Inbox to your Telegram account, you need the help of Gmail bot. Here are the steps to do it.
Note: the screenshots are taken from the desktop version of Telegram. You will have a more or less similar interface with the mobile version.
1. Open the Gmail bot in the Telegram app. To get started you can visit this Gmail bot link and allow it to open the Telegram client. Alternatively, you can also send a direct message to “@gmailbot.”
3. To enable the bot to do its job, you need to authorize it to set up Gmail integration.
The bot will try to open the Gmail integration link. Tap “Open” to proceed.
4. Choose one of your Gmail accounts that you want to use with Telegram.
After everything is set up correctly you will have a channel dedicated to your Gmail and will start receiving emails in your Telegram client.Managing Emails in Telegram
Now that your emails go wherever your Telegram goes, how do you manage them? Even though the interface is different from your usual email client, it’s pretty straightforward.
Under the “Actions” button you can find common email commands such as reply, forward, archives, delete, etc.
You can access more commands by simply typing the slash ( / ). There are four available commands:
/start – to authorize another Gmail account
/new – to compose new email
/settings – to adjust notification settings
/stop – to turn off email notifications
Gmail bot gives Telegram users the convenience of managing email without ever leaving the Telegram environment, but it also comes with some drawbacks.
The most obvious one is the need to be selective in filtering which emails should go into your Telegram and which ones should be skipped. If you just let any mail go in, your Telegram will be cluttered with emails in no time.
And while the bot is perfect for quick replies, the interface is not really user-friendly for composing long emails.
In short, the Gmail bot for Telegram is great if you use it to receive your most important emails and give quick replies.
