Suggested January 2024 How To Stream Youtube On Apple Watch
Apple is a growing company that has several products that exceed the expectations of technology. One of them being the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch has several uses and a few different types of watches. There are five series of Apple Watches, each doing better than the other.
Unfortunately, only series three, four, and five can play videos. But despite that, the other two series work just fine. While there is no direct way to stream the application YouTube on the Apple Watch, there are ways to bypass this obstacle and do it efficiently.
One way to stream YouTube on the Apple Watch is through an app found on the Apple Watch. An Apple Watch user recently tried to stream YouTube on their watch but was unfortunately unsuccessful. They turned to the app store to see if there was an app that could bypass that.
Again, this person was unsuccessful until finally, they came up with the bright idea to create their own app. This app would have the ability to listen to music and stream YouTube videos aloud on the apple watch’s speaker. The app is called “Keepvid,” and it was created by a French developer. You can easily search it on your phone’s apple watch app store. This app has excellent ratings and accomplishes its goals very well, with little playback and good sound quality.
There are a few downsides to this app, on being that a lot of people experienced glitches on their watches and buffering. They also noticed that they weren’t able to access all YouTube videos, and they couldn’t watch videos that exceeded a certain amount of minutes.
Another way to stream YouTube on the apple watch is to send videos to yourself via computer or cellular device. Since there is no direct way to stream YouTube videos, a lot of people have found that if they download the YouTube videos and then send them to themselves using iMessage, they were able to receive them on their apple watches and watch them. This technique works very well.
The only downside to this is sometimes videos can take a long time to send and they can only get through on WiFi. Longer videos tend to take a longer time and not all videos can be downloaded and properly sent to you on your Apple Watch.
Overall, Apple needs to figure out an actual way to stream YouTube on the Apple Watch. While the Apple Watch has many properties that make it a mini phone, such as talk, text, face-time, and games, streaming is not one of them. In the near future, with the series five on the rise, there are many hopes for the Apple Watch to supply a few different features. One of them being streaming of apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc.
The series five also provides better watch on your health and heart. It has a retina that never sleeps, tells you when sounds around you are too loud and can be harmful towards you, and can stream more songs than ever. Apple always finds away to be innovative and does that job well.
Despite there being no official way to stream YouTube on your Apple Watch directly, these two helpful tips, tricks and hacks are sure to aid you.
You can stream YouTube on your watch in a safe, legal, and efficient way that will ensure the best for you. You can use these tricks anytime to make your Apple Watch work for you.

How To Activate Night Mode On Apple Watch Ultra
Apple’s most rugged smartwatch, jam-packed with innovative features, is now officially available. The Apple Watch Ultra is meant for athletes, hikers, divers, and other pro users. The watch includes a new Night Mode to help them move in the dark without straining their eyes or distracting them from the bright display. So, here’s how to activate and use Night Mode.
What is Night Mode on Apple Watch Ultra?
Night Mode effectively applies a red filter blocking blue light to the watch’s display. Thus, it reduces eye fatigue and avoids damaging the retina. The display on other Apple watches may not be ideal for night vision.
Turn on Night Mode on Apple Watch UltraCurrently, the Apple Watch Ultra Night Mode is only accessible on the Wayfinder watch face. So, if you use any other watch face, you must switch to Wayfinder. Here’s how to do it:
To turn on the Wayfinder watch face, long-press on display. Then it will provide you with a list of available watch faces.
Now you must swipe through the faces and choose Wayfinder from there.
Now, turn up the Digital Crown until the watch display turns red.
Source: Apple
And that’s all! Night Mode is successfully activated, making reading in low-light conditions considerably simpler. You may customize the watch face for the Wayfinder and choose a version that suits your preferences. So, simply swipe to the desired one depending on your activities.
But there’s a drawback! The Night Mode only functions on the main screen. Using any other feature or tapping on other watch complications will disable the Night Mode.
In case you were wondering how to disable Night Mode, you just need to turn the Digital Crown in the opposite direction on the Wayfinder face.
The Apple Watch Ultra has more to offer…The new Apple Watch Ultra has bigger, 36-hour battery life. It comes with water resistance of up to 100 meters and features a customizable Action Button. Using the new button, you can access many features like Flashlight, Dive, Backtrack, etc. In addition, it contains Dual-Frequency GPS, a depth gauge, and a sensor to measure water’s temperature.
Also, you will get a Siren and two speakers. In times of need, when you are lost and unable to contact for assistance, the Siren comes in handy.
FAQsDoes Night Mode support the whole UI?
No, you must choose and set the Wayfinder watch face for this to function.
Do other Apple Watch models have Night Mode?
As of writing, this is a function that only the Apple Watch Ultra has.
So, that’s all for today, folks!
The Night Mode is something that brings convenience to daily usage for anyone. Therefore, Apple Watch Ultra has surely raised the bar for smartwatches with all the new features. But the hefty price tag may hesitate you. So, before making a purchasing decision, consider all the aspects.

How To Use “Approve With Apple Watch” On Macos Catalina
The Apple Watch has come a long way since it was released over six years ago, with the latest Apple Watch 5 and watchOS 6 integrating into your tech setup like never before. A new feature introduced in the latest macOS Catalina allows for the Apple Watch to perform authentication actions on their Mac.
This feature, known as “Approve with Apple Watch,” provides two solutions. It lets you view the passwords on your Mac (specifically in Safari) whenever you need to type in your password. Secondly, it offers a unique way to approve app installations and other password-protected acts, such as unlocking settings in System Preferences, modifying root files, unlocking a secure Notes file, etc.
To use Approve with Apple Watch, you’ll need the following:
Apple Watch running watchOS 6 or later
Mac running macOS Catalina or later
Auto-Unlock feature enabled
Two-Factor Authentication enabled on your iCloud account.
First, to enable the Auto-Unlock feature:
1. Turn on your Apple Watch and wear it on your wrist. If the watch is not on your wrist, you won’t be able to enable Auto-Lock, as your Mac will not be able to register the device.
2. You’ll also need to have a passcode set on your Apple Watch. If you don’t have one set already, simply open up the Settings app from your Apple Watch app screen and tap on Passcode to set one.
3. On your Mac, open up “System Preferences.”
5. Enable the option to “Allow your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac.” This will require you to enter in your administrator ID and password.
Once this is done, you’ll need to enable Two-Factor authentication on your iCloud account. There are multiple ways to do this: by visiting your Apple ID website, using the iPhone/iPad Settings app, etc. We’ll be enabling it directly from macOS’s System Preferences app. To do so, follow the below instructions:
1. In System Preferences, access your iCloud account.
2. From the left pane, select “Passwords and Security.”
3. Enable the option for Two-Factor authentication.
Once this is done, Auto-Unlock should work automatically on your Apple Watch / Mac. Follow the below example to see how it works:
1. In Safari, if you open a website with a password field, Safari will show you a key icon next to the password (provided you have saved passwords in Safari before).
This works similarly in the System Preferences app. If you need to unlock a specific setting to make changes, simply use the “Approve with Apple Watch” feature to unlock it directly from your Apple Watch rather than typing in your password on your Mac.
As described above, Approve with Apple Watch can save you time in entering in your password.

How To Stream Amazon Prime On Chromecast
Amazon Prime Video has a wide variety of content worth watching. However, the company’s ongoing battle with Google makes it impossible for you to cast directly to your Chromecast to watch the videos on your television.
Simply put, Amazon doesn’t include Chromecast integration because they want people to buy a Fire Stick to stream the videos. This competition has resulted in a lack of options for customers who have both Prime Video and a Chromecast device.
However, it seems that there has been a breakthrough in relations between Google and Amazon. On April 18, 2023, the companies released a statement announcing that Amazon will add Chromecast support to its Prime Video app. This support makes it possible to cast those Amazon videos to the television directly from your phone.
Finally, integration is coming. However, there’s no definite date for this to begin, so in the meantime there is a way around it that lets you watch that Amazon Prime content on your TV – casting from your PC. This method of casting doesn’t always produce the best results, but there are some settings tweaks you can make to improve the video quality.
How to Cast Prime VideoThe best way to work around the lack of Chromecast support on Amazon Prime is to cast your videos from a laptop or desktop on the Chrome browser.
We will work under the assumption that you already have a Chromecast device attached to your television or have a smart TV with the ability to receive a cast from another device.
You do not need to have an Amazon Prime account to cast their videos, but if you do, you have a much wider variety of choices.
To cast from your PC to your Chromecast, you must have the latest version of the Google Chrome browser on your PC or Mac.
1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
2. Log in to Prime if you have it.
3. Choose a movie or show to watch and start it.
5. Select Cast.
6. In the box that appears is a list of available devices. Choose the one with the Chromecast attached that you want to cast to.
Issues with Casting from PCThere are several issues you may encounter while casting from your PC. One problem is that if you watch the video on your browser as well as the Chromecast, the audio may begin stuttering. Another issue is that casting from the browser limits the quality to 1080p. The quality of the stream may also be affected by the speed and condition of your Internet connection.
Both these issues can be addressed with a few small changes.
First, you can enable a flag in the Chrome browser called #enable-new-remote-playback-pipeline. It optimizes the streaming of video from the PC to the Chromecast. To get this flag, follow the below instructions:
1. Type chrome://flags/#media-remoting into your browser’s address bar and press Enter.
2. On the Experiments page that appears, type the word “remote” into the search box.
Another way you can improve the quality of the streaming between your PC and the Chromecast device is to set the Google Home app to use 50Hz mode. As long as your television supports 50Hz HDMI, you will see changes in the video quality.
To do this:
1. Open Google Home on your smartphone.
2. Tap the television icon for the TV you want to adjust.
4. Scroll down until you find the option to “Use 50Hz HDMI mode,” and toggle the switch on.
The combination of these two settings adjustments should make the video smoother when you cast from the Amazon Prime tab.
Although this may not be a perfect workaround, following these steps will make it possible for you to make Amazon Prime and Google’s Chromecast play nicely together until the new integrations arrive.

How To Reset And Unpair Apple Watch
Every now and then there comes a time when you need to reset your devices. It’s almost a law of nature — it happens with the best of laptops, desktops, and yes, even smartwatches. Maybe your Apple Watch feels slow or sluggish after years of use, maybe you want a clean slate, or maybe you’re selling it off and need to remove your personal information from it. So, if you’re unsure how to go about it, here is how to reset and unpair your Apple Watch.
Table of Contents Unpair and Reset Apple Watch Using iPhoneThe most fool-proof way to factory reset your Apple Watch is by using the ‘Watch’ app on your iPhone. Here’s what you need to do. This way you can also erase your Apple Watch data if that’s what you want to do.
In the Watch app on your iPhone, tap on your watch’s name. Next, tap on the “ⓘ” icon.
Tap on ‘Unpair Apple Watch‘ and confirm your choice.
You will now have to enter your Apple ID password in order to disable the Activation Lock from the Watch. Once you’ve entered the password, tap on ‘Unpair’ in the top-right of the screen.
That’s it. Once you’ve done that, your Apple Watch will start taking a backup of its data on your iPhone and then reset itself to factory settings. This entire process can take some time. Once the process is complete, you can re-pair the watch to your iPhone if you want, or you can sell it, or hand it down to someone.
Reset Apple Watch Directly from the WatchIf, you’re simply looking to get a fresh start with your Apple Watch and pair it again with your own iPhone, you don’t need to disable the Activation Lock since you’ll be using it with the same Apple ID. Here’s how to do that:
Open ‘Settings‘ on your Apple Watch and tap on ‘General‘.
Here, go to ‘Reset‘. Tap on ‘Erase All Contents and Settings’. You may need to enter your passcode.
Tap on ‘Erase All‘.
Your Apple Watch will now reset to factory settings and you can set it up with your iPhone again.
Unpair Apple Watch After ResetIf you’ve reset your Apple Watch directly from the watch itself, and you wish to give it away to someone else, you will need to disable the Activation Lock otherwise the watch will not pair with another iPhone. Here’s what you need to do:
Go to iCloud on your laptop or desktop computer and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Under My Devices, select your Apple Watch.
You can now safely hand-over your Apple Watch to someone else.
How to Reset Apple Watch Without PasscodeIf you have forgotten your Apple Watch password, you can still do a hard reset. Here’s how to do that.
Tap on ‘Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings’ and confirm the action.
You may have to enter your Apple ID password in order to complete this action.
Your Apple Watch will now reset and erase all its contents. You can then set it up again and set a new passcode for your watch.
Earlier you could have done this via the watch itself. However, that requires a force touch interaction on the power off slider in Apple Watch. Unfortunately, with watchOS 7, Apple has removed Force Touch, so you can’t use that method. If a new method is discovered, we will update this article.
FAQs About Resetting an Apple WatchA. If your Apple Watch is prompting you to enter the password to someone else’s Apple ID, it’s because of Activation Lock. Unfortunately, you can’t get rid of this. You will have to ask the previous owner of the watch to input that information on your Apple Watch to get past that.
Q. How do I turn off Apple Watch activation lock without previous owner?
A. As mentioned in the previous answer, this is a security feature and can not be removed by you unless you have the previous owner’s Apple ID credentials. If you don’t, you will have to ask them to remove the activation lock.
Q. Can you bypass activation lock on Apple Watch? Can activation lock be removed?
Q. How to Clear RAM in Apple Watch?
If your apps are getting stuck and you are thinking about resetting your watch because of that, you should first try to clear RAM and force restart apps. To do this, just press and hold the side button until the power off slider comes up. Now press and hold the digital crown. That’s it.
Reset Your Apple Watch and Get a Fresh StartPersonally, I have reset my Apple Watch only twice — once because I had filled it too much with third party apps and I didn’t want to go through the pain of uninstalling them all, and the other time for this article to take the required screenshots. So yeah, there will be times when you might want to reset your Apple Watch, and now you know how you can go about it. Just keep in mind that if you don’t want to lose your Apple Watch data, you should always unpair it using your iPhone. Otherwise your data will not be backed up.
