AI tools and chatbots have been on the rise since the beginning of this year. As companies continue to embrace digital transformation, the need for automation has become more critical than ever before. AI-powered tools can help companies automate tedious and repetitive tasks, freeing up their employees to focus on more strategic initiatives.

Chatbots, in particular, have become incredibly popular for customer service applications. They can handle customer inquiries and support requests around the clock, reducing the need for human intervention. However, while chatbots can be incredibly useful, they still require significant human input to function correctly.

Agent GPT is poised to change this. This autonomous AI agent is designed to automate tasks without any specific prompts or inputs. By feeding Agent GPT its desired name and goals, the AI will take care of the rest, chaining together different LLMs (or “Agents”) to research and produce the desired outcomes.

In this article, we’ll explore what Agent GPT is, how it works, and how you can set it up to streamline your workflow and achieve better results.

Also Useful: How to create your own AutoGPT AI Agent without any coding

As we mentioned earlier, Agent GPT is an autonomous AI agent designed to automate tasks. What sets Agent GPT apart from other AI-powered tools is its ability to learn from its own experiences. By chaining together different LLMs, Agent GPT can plan and execute tasks to achieve set goals. It then scrutinizes the results and thinks of new and better ways to achieve them.

This approach helps Agent GPT produce better and more accurate results over time. With its ability to learn from its own experiences, Agent GPT is poised to revolutionize the way we automate tasks and achieve our goals.

Agent GPT is an AI platform that empowers users to create and deploy independent AI agents for accomplishing various tasks. Auto-GPT is an AI agent that can receive a natural language goal and strive to accomplish it by breaking it into sub-tasks and utilizing internet and other resources. Auto-GPT operates by taking a set of keywords or phrases as input and generating a coherent and pertinent text output that includes the given information. It is a self-prompting AI agent that eliminates the need for creative and detailed prompts and can generate new prompts if it encounters difficulty in completing a task. Both Agent GPT and GodMode are highly user-friendly applications for utilizing AI agents.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to set up and use Agent GPT:

Log in to your OpenAI account using your preferred method.

Copy the API key and save it in a convenient location.

Paste the API key beside the Key text field.

Choose your preferred language from the drop-down menu for Lang.

Choose your preferred GPT model from the drop-down menu for Model.

Note: It is recommended to keep your account topped up with credits before using GPT 4 as it uses a lot of tokens.

Type in your preferred name for the AI Agent beside “Name” at the bottom.

Type your preferred goal beside “Goal” at the bottom.

You can track the AI’s progress in real-time and observe it creating its own tasks to achieve the defined goal.

Auto-GPT is an autonomous AI agent that can function without human input, whereas AgentGPT requires human agents to operate. This means that Auto-GPT can perform tasks on its own, while AgentGPT needs a human operator to create and deploy AI agents.

Auto-GPT is primarily designed for data analysis, while AgentGPT is more suitable for creating, configuring, and deploying autonomous AI agents. This means that Auto-GPT is more focused on analyzing data, while AgentGPT is more focused on automating tasks.

AgentGPT allows unlimited free tries, but only four tasks can be executed by the bot per free try. This means that users can try out AgentGPT as many times as they want, but only a limited number of tasks can be executed in each try. In contrast, Auto-GPT can generate code for tasks like deploying an e-commerce website, making it more versatile than AgentGPT.

Both AgentGPT and Auto-GPT are built on GPT-4, but they have different use cases and features. For instance, AgentGPT allows users to create and deploy autonomous AI agents, while Auto-GPT can generate code for various tasks. The features of each tool make them suited for different use cases.

In summary, while AgentGPT and Auto-GPT are both AI agents built on GPT-4, they have different use cases and features. Auto-GPT is more focused on data analysis, while AgentGPT is more focused on creating and deploying autonomous AI agents. Additionally, AgentGPT requires human agents to operate, while Auto-GPT is an autonomous agent that can function on its own.

AgentGPT allows unlimited free tries, but only four tasks can be executed by the bot per free try.

AgentGPT is primarily designed to work with human agents to complete tasks and may not be suitable for tasks that require complete automation.

Like any AI tool, AgentGPT may have limitations in terms of accuracy and reliability, depending on the specific use case and data input.

In conclusion, the rise of AI tools and chatbots has transformed the way we work and communicate, and Agent GPT is poised to revolutionize the way we automate tasks and achieve our goals. With its ability to learn from its own experiences, Agent GPT can help users streamline their workflow and achieve better results with minimal human input. Setting up and using Agent GPT is relatively straightforward, and its autonomous nature allows it to function without continuous input from its human operator. While other AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Infinity AI, JasperChat, and Dall-E have been successful, they still require significant human input to function correctly. In contrast, Agent GPT can operate independently, making it a game-changer for businesses looking to automate tedious and repetitive tasks.

      Lily Katz / Android Authority

Some surfaces on the Nest Mini and Nest Audio are touch-sensitive, providing physical controls for volume and playing and pausing music. You can, of course, use voice commands (more on this in a moment), but sometimes touch is simpler or less disruptive.

On a Nest Mini, tap the left side of its face to reduce volume, and the right side to increase it ― these directions assume your power cord is facing away from you. Tap the center of the grill to play or pause.

The Nest Audio has these sensors on the very top of the speaker. Tap on the left corner to lower the volume, or the right to increase it. Tap in between to play or pause.

Meanwhile, the Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max have volume rockers located behind their displays on the right-hand side. To play or pause content, just tap the appropriate onscreen icon.

Voice commands for volume are extremely intuitive ― if you can think of one, it’ll probably work. Here are a few examples:

“Hey Google, set the volume to 5.”

      “OK Google, increase volume.”

      “Hey Google, lower volume.”

“OK Google, change the volume to 30 percent.”

How to enable Guest Mode on Google Nest speakers

      Lily Katz / Android Authority

If you’re hosting a social gathering and want to give others access to your Google Nest speakers without risking personal data, the solution is Guest Mode. You can enable it by saying, “Hey Google, turn on Guest Mode,” and — perhaps unfortunately — disable it with the opposite command. Google seems to assume you’ll be around to keep an eye on guests, or that visitors may not know about Guest Mode in the first place.

While Guest Mode is on, a speaker won’t share personal data linked to your Google account, such as Google Calendar events. It also automatically deletes any Assistant activity records or voice recordings, even if you’ve opted into them.

Google warns that speakers may save activity linked to various Google or third-party services. If someone asks your Nest Audio to play a YouTube video on your Chromecast, for example, it’s going to affect your video history and recommendations.

      Frequently asked questions

Without getting too technical, Wi-Fi 6 and 6E are not only faster than Wi-Fi 5, but allow for more simultaneous connections. Wi-Fi 5 can be acceptable — but many people are layering smart home accessories on top of phones, tablets, PCs, media streamers, and wearables, which can be too much to handle. Once a router is saturated, it has to temporarily drop older connections to support new ones.

Wi-Fi 6E adds a 6GHz band to the 2.4 and 5GHz bands found on other routers. Most devices don’t support 6GHz yet, but it offers even faster speeds and can further alleviate saturation.

Mesh systems improve the coverage of your Wi-Fi, eliminating dead zones and boosting speed and reliability where signal was previously weak.

Potentially. While the Nest Audio sounds great for its price, you can get even better bass, fidelity, and volume if you’re willing to spend on something like the Sonos One or Beosound Balance.

Google also lacks portable speakers and soundbars. In fact, if you’re looking for living room audio, it might be best to go with Sonos’ Beam or Arc soundbars, since you can switch between TV and music streaming on the fly, killing two birds with one stone.

How To Set Up And Use A Ram Drive In Windows

A RAM drive or a RAM disk is a hard drive made up of your computer’s RAM. It can’t save data permanently, but it’s incredibly fast. If you want to try it out, you can create a RAM drive with free software and without a single computer upgrade. This article will walk through how you can set up and use a RAM drive on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

      Using ImDisk Toolkit

ImDisk Toolkit is an application for managing virtual drives. It also includes a utility that allows the creation of RAM drives.

      Download ImDisk from Sourceforge.net.

Install the application. Be sure to include all the components during the installation.

      Windows 11

Creating a RAM disk with Windows 11 is way faster than with Windows 10, as you get an “installation finished” message as soon as you initiate the ImDisk setup.

      Windows 10

If you’re on Windows 10 continue with the following steps to finish the RAM disk installation and then restart the system once.

Adjust the disk size in the box at the top of the window. We recommend at least 4GB of storage to get a feel for how the disk works.

Then unlock the settings pane with your administrator password.

Fast Startup speeds up the process of turning on your computer by saving a system state between completely off and hibernation to your hard drive. This happens when the computer writes the contents of your RAM to a stable hard drive. As you may guess, this could mess with your RAM drive’s ability to preserve and track its data. With Fast Startup off, boots may take slightly longer, but it’s doubtful that you’ll notice much.

Disabling fast startup will satisfy the warning window, but let’s consider why. This will also allow ImDisk to save your RAM drive’s data to an image file when you shut down your computer. If you don’t, the contents of your RAM drive will be erased completely every time, with no saved image storage. It would also disable the RAM drive’s ability to load the previous content. Basically, the drive would act much more like RAM and much less like a disk. Depending on your use case, that may be disappointing or unusable.

      Using Your RAM Drive

You can access and use it just like any normal hard drive. It shows up in Windows File Explorer just like any other drive.

However, a RAM drive is exponentially faster than traditional types of storage. And we mean exponentially. You can verify it yourself using Anvil’s Storage Utilities, a raw speed comparison tool. In the following test, my Windows device C drive registered an overall score of 77.63 Mbps with average read and write speeds of 40.44 and 37.20 Mbps respectively.

In comparison, the values for ImDisk RAM drive were off the charts with an overall score of 29675.8 Mbps, along with average read and write scores of 21615 and 8080 Mbps respectively.

In most cases, it isn’t feasible to buy more RAM simply to have a bigger RAM disk. However, with between 8GB and 32GB of RAM, you can do some useful things. These include:

Video and photo editing: these processes can be resource-intensive, and more traditional means of storage can create a bottleneck slowing them down.

Gaming: if you have a lot of RAM, you can run some games from your RAM disk. Imagine how smoothly your games would run if you did this.

Statistical modeling: this requires access to data at high speeds. A RAM disk can provide the necessary read/write speeds.

      Precautions and Recommendations

You will need to ensure that data stored on your RAM disk is backed up to an image, of course. Luckily, ImDisk pretty much takes care of this. In addition, if you aren’t using a laptop with a strong battery, you should hook up your PC or laptop to a UPS. This way, if there’s a surge or power outage, you’ll be able to shut down your computer safely without losing data.

Frequently Asked Questions What makes a RAM drive so fast?

RAM drive is fast by definition because it repurposes the computer’s random access memory (RAM) to serve as temporary file storage. In other words, it functions as the software abstraction of a hard drive.

How big can a RAM disk be?

The RAM disk size depends on the amount of RAM your computer has at the moment. Under no condition it can exceed that limit. For safety purposes, it is prudent not to assign more than 50% of your PC’s RAM to serve as a RAM disk. For example, if you have 16GB of RAM on your computer, you can allocate up to 8 GB for the RAM drive.

When should you use a RAM drive?

A RAM drive is most useful for applications where fast data writing and reading is important. It is best suited for highly technical computing tasks where high throughput is mission critical. For example, if you want your computer to perform 3D video rendering, a RAM drive will help you write data much faster than SSD due to faster encoding.

Can you use RAM drive as a boot drive?

Yes, you can use your laptop or PC RAM drive to boot up your operating system, but we don’t recommend it. The process will be very slow because of the volatile nature of this memory option. As your data is lost entirely each time you disconnect RAM drive, it will take a long time to back up your operating system. Also you need to keep your laptop or PC powered on to avoid RAM drive disconnection while booting.

How To Set Up And Use A Vpn: A Beginner’s Guide

VPN (Virtual Private Network) sounds like an intimidating term, but anyone who has used one will tell you how easy they are to set up and use. In the past, VPNs were mainly an enterprise-level phenomenon. However, privacy-cautious internet users are now relying on VPNs more than ever.

You can now get a VPN for a much lower price, set it up within minutes, and ensure your connection’s security and privacy.

      Table of Contents

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about setting up and using a VPN.

How Does a VPN Help You?

VPNs can help you with the following things:

Stay Anonymous Online (Always Choose a VPN With a No-Logs Policy)

A VPN with a strict no-logs policy doesn’t collect any data when you’re connected to a VPN server. Once you disconnect, it’s almost as if you were never there.

Major VPNs are usually headquartered in countries with no data retention laws, like the British Virgin Islands and Panama.

      Encrypt Your Internet Traffic

A 2023 FTC report revealed that many ISPs (Internet Service Providers) can be at least as privacy-intrusive as ad platforms. Many ISPs have access to your unencrypted activity and can trace that activity back to you.

It’s not just your ISP that can access a user’s unencrypted traffic. For instance, when using public WiFi, your data may be vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. If you need to transfer sensitive documents and use online banking using a public network at a cafe, you should use a VPN.

VPNs encrypt your traffic, so anyone who tries to access your online activity won’t be able to decrypt the data even if they get their hands on it.

Access Geo-Blocked Websites or Bypass Censorship

Say you’re going on a trip to the Maldives. You won’t have access to Netflix U.S. or HBO Max when you get there. Opening Netflix will take you to the Maldives library automatically. You can’t binge-watch your favorite Netflix U.S. show from the Maldives, unless you use a VPN.

You can do this by connecting to a U.S.-based VPN server. This will help you acquire a U.S. IP address. When you log into Netflix with a U.S. IP address, the website will think you’re physically located in the U.S. and let you access the U.S. library. You’ll also be able to access platforms like HBO Max that are only available in the U.S. from different countries using a VPN.

You can also use VPNs to bypass government censorship. For instance, if you’re traveling to China but need to access Facebook, you’ll need to bypass China’s Great Firewall using a VPN.

However, not all VPNs can bypass geoblocks or bypass censorship. You’ll need a VPN that can hide the fact that your IP comes from a VPN server.

How to Set Up a VPN

Setting up a VPN is an easy three-step process and doesn’t require technical skills. If you need help choosing a VPN, we discuss that in the next section. We’ll use ExpressVPN to illustrate the setup process.

Sign up for ExpressVPN from its website.

Download the ExpressVPN app for your device and install it. It’s available for all major operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. If you’re on an iPhone/iPad or Android device, you can download the VPN app from the Play Store or the App Store.

Launch ExpressVPN and press the power button to connect to a server. It will automatically connect with the best server location, but you can also choose one yourself from the list.

Network Lock: ExpressVPN calls its kill switch Network Lock. You’d want to keep this enabled so the app can stop all internet traffic if the VPN connection drops abruptly. This will ensure you never access the internet with an unencrypted connection unexpectedly.

Split tunneling: This feature lets you use a VPN connection for specific apps while other apps continue using the unencrypted connection. ExpressVPN lets you create an allowlist (apps that can use the VPN connection) or a blocklist (apps that can’t use the VPN connection).

Once you’ve configured the VPN, you can connect to a VPN server and access websites without worrying about security and privacy.

3 Best VPNs (Free Alternative Included)

There are countless VPN providers, but you’ll want to choose a reliable service to ensure your online security and privacy. We’ve picked the three best VPN services. Two of them were selected based on their feature portfolio and popularity. The third option is a free VPN for those who aren’t looking to spend on a VPN just yet. All listed VPNs have a no-logs policy (they don’t track your activity).

ExpressVPN is currently the best VPN available. It offers top-notch security through VPN protocols like OpenVPN, and its proprietary Lightway protocol, combined with AES-256 encryption.

It bypasses geoblocks on almost all streaming services, including Netflix. Since ExpressVPN offers unlimited bandwidth and excellent connection speeds, you can enjoy buffer-free streaming on your favorite streaming platforms.

Note that a VPN connection will slow down your speeds at least marginally in most cases because your traffic will need to travel through an intermediary server (the VPN server). VPNs may improve your speed in some cases where the ISP has been throttling speeds. You can test speeds using the built-in speed test on ExpressVPN.

ExpressVPN checks all the boxes—it’s fast, secure, and reliable. The only downside is that it’s expensive. If you’re open to spending extra for a premium service, ExpressVPN might be the right VPN for you. There’s no trial, but you can use the 30-day money-back guarantee to claim a full refund if you don’t like ExpressVPN after using it for a few days.

NordVPN comes very close to ExpressVPN in several aspects. It’s almost as fast, secures your internet connection, and offers all the bells and whistles you’ll find on ExpressVPN, like split tunneling.

The VPN works on all major operating systems and allows six simultaneous connections (compared to five on ExpressVPN). However, you can install both VPNs on a router. This allows using the VPN for any number of devices as long as they’re connected to that router.

The best part? NordVPN costs half of ExpressVPN and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee too.

If you’re looking for an even cheaper alternative, consider Surfshark or CyberGhost. Don’t want a paid VPN? Check the next provider.

The best VPN services are the paid ones. While there are tons of free VPN services, most of them are unreliable and insecure, except a few like Windscribe and Tunnelbear.

Windscribe secures your connection just as well as paid VPNs. If you want a free VPN to secure your connection from hackers when using a public WiFi network or hotspots, Windscribe will do that for free.

You can install Windscribe on your computer or a mobile device. It also has a browser extension for all popular browsers, including Chrome.

Windscribe is quite easily the best free VPN available, but the free version comes with limitations. The free version has a 10GB monthly data cap. Plus, the speeds are mediocre at best, and you’ll experience occasional buffering when streaming in HD.

How To Set Up And Manage Parental Control On Mac

It was almost noon and the sun shines a little bit too bright that day. I was waiting for the red light to turn to green in that busy intersection when a tired-looking newspaper boy offers me the half-priced morning edition. The headline struck me: Facebook Murder in Australia.

The green light and loud inpatient honks came before I had the chance to even open my car window to buy the paper. So, the first thing I did after arriving back at my office was searching for that headline and found several news telling the horrid story.

Parents, start controlling your kids online activities!

One thing that I understand about the net is that you can find (almost) anything as long as you know how to search for it. This “anything” includes both the good and the bad things, and it goes both way.

The best thing that you can do to prevent strangers from getting your (or your children’s) personal information is by putting as little information as you can on the virtual world.

On the other hand, parents should also make sure that their children can only access good information. If you use Mac, one of the ways to do it is to activate “Parental Contol“. Here’s how:

Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.

Then choose “Parental Control” from “System” group.

And similar to the other items in the System Preferences, you’ll have to authenticate the changes as an admin.

My computer has only one user: me. If I want to apply the Parental Control to this account, I can. But I prefer to create a brand new user account as the parental controlled account.

After that, choose whether you want to turn the “Automatic Login” on or off. If you want maximum security, keep the automatic login on. But this is also means that you would have to go through several extra steps every time you want to change user.

Under this new user account, open the “Parental Controls” once more.

Now you can see many options available for the account. In the “System” tab, you can modify Finder to look more simple to cater young and inexperienced users.

It’s also possible to allow only few selected applications to be opened by this users. To enable this feature, be sure to give checkmark to the option and choose the applications from the list below.

The next tab – “Content” – dealing with the content of the computer and the web and how to make them safer for your kids. This is the place to control how much web that you let your children consume.

“Mail & iChat” tab is a kind of white list address book with the names of “trusted” friends on the list.

Another restrictions that you can use is “Time Limits“. Define how long you let your children use the computer, both in the weekdays and weekends. You can also set the bedtime during school nights and weekend.

The last item on the Parental Control is the “Logs“. This is the place where you can access the complete reports on your children’s computing activities. The results can be filtered by the time and the types of activities.

      The Best Parental Control

Let me close today’s discussion by saying that even though all of the features of Parental Control are nice and useful, nothing can be compared to parent’s presence. The best parental control that you can apply to your children’s computing life is your own guidance.
