How to restore your Mac from a Time Machine backup in Recovery ModeMake sure your Time Machine backup disk is connected and turned on. If you use a network-attached storage device or Time Capsule as the backup disk for Time Machine, make sure that both the backup disk and your Mac are on the same network.
1) In the Apple menu choose Restart, or power on your Mac.
2) As your Mac restarts, hold down the Command (⌘) – R combination after the startup chime plays and hold the keys until the Apple logo appears.
After a few minutes, the Mac OS X Utilities window should appear.
Tip: If you see macOS’ login window or the desktop, you didn’t press the keyboard combination early enough so restart your Mac and try again.

Use mysqldumpWe can use mysqldump on a particular database only provided you have the access privilege of SELECT command on the tables and views of the database that you want to dump and take a backup of. You can dump one or more than one databases simultaneously. You can make use of the following syntax for dumping the database to create a dump file for backup purposes in MariaDB –
For dumping one or more than one database present on the same server –

For dumping one or more tables of a database, use the below mysqldump syntax –

Database name – This represents the database name for which you want to take the backup.

The recovery installed on your device may not be touch-friendly. You’ll have to use the Power and Volume buttons available on your device to select and navigate between options in the recovery.
