You must create a website for your business to help it grow online. This allows you to reach out to more audience and leverage your digital presence. Here are a few things that you need to keep in mind before creating a website for your business.
Define Your Website Goals:
You must have your goals defined before you create a website for your business. Is it to let more people know your brand? Is it to sell more products? Is it to keep the users engaged? Or, is it to showcase your creative work? May it be any of these or all of these, make sure you have it!
Only when you have clarity of goals can you ever make progress in the right direction – towards the success of your business. Dedicate time and energy to brainstorming and coming up with appropriate goals.
Research the Market:
Defining a goal doesn’t help you achieve it. You need to put in the effort and know your market to create an effective strategy. Make a detailed research and find out what makes your website stand out. Study other business websites created in the same industry as yours and check what they lack that you can offer.
Conduct comprehensive competitor research and determine the gaps in the market and find ways in which you can bridge these gaps and identify business opportunities in serving the target market.
Know Your Target Audience:
Knowing what your audience is looking for, affects almost all the elements of your website creation plan. These elements include your website’s theme, design, content, optimization strategy, marketing and networking effort, and much more. You must research and understand what can attract people towards your website and make the choices accordingly.
Let us take an example of website optimization. You can create the website content that sounds great to you but if it doesn’t include the relevant keywords, it is good for nothing. If your website doesn’t rank on a search engine, how will the target audience find it?
Know your Brand:
No one knows your brand better than yourself. Make the selections that suit your brand. Your website is a vital component of your business that will serve your brand for years. With the help of an excellent website, you can attract new people and develop your brand reputation. Keeping that in mind, design your website image that represents your brand well. Make sure the base color of your website matches the color of your brand. It helps you capture the attention of the target audience.
Create a Website Promotion Strategy:
Even when you create an excellent website, you still need to attract visitors. Before you have your website up and running, you need to create a better promotion and marketing strategy. People will not just find your website on the search engines. You need to optimize it to attract more and more visitors. Create a list of ideas on how you can develop your website identity using various solutions like content marketing, SEO, social media marketing, and much more.

How To Create A New Instagram Account & Optimize It In 10 Simple Steps
Whether you’re bored, procrastinating, looking for inspiration, killing time, wanting to connect with others, in need of a quick laugh, or anything in between, you’ll most likely find yourself on social media. Not just any platform, but one that’s easy to scroll through, even easier to use, and one that everyone else is on: Instagram.
You may already be familiar with Instagram from a consumer perspective, but what about Instagram for your business? It’s no secret that this platform is key to finding social media success. However, it’s just a matter of getting started. But if you’re left feeling a little intimidated by making a new Instagram account, don’t be. We’ll help you through every step of the way by covering:
How to create a new Instagram account for your business.
How to best optimize after making your new Instagram account.
Tips to get started and grow your Instagram following.
Why should I create a new Instagram account? If you’re unsure about taking the plunge onto Instagram for your business, consider how Instagram is a powerful social media marketing tool.
It’s the 7th most trafficked website in the world and the 4th most popular social media site of 2023. In fact, there are almost 1.5 billion Instagram users worldwide, and 81% of those users are on Instagram to research products and services. Not only that, but 50% of people have visited a website to make a purchase after seeing it on Instagram and nearly 140,000 users are visiting a business’s page on Instagram each minute.
You’ve probably heard friends chatting about the site before, or even browsed it yourself. This acts as proof that you’ll find your target audience on Instagram, and be able to connect with them in a more meaningful way.
Plus, creating a new Instagram account is easier than you think! It takes five minutes to get started.
How to create a new Instagram account (and optimize it!)Don’t worry too much about making the perfect account initially. Set yourself free from the idea of achieving perfection, and instead focus on just getting started. Remember, you can tweak your account as you become more comfortable using Instagram.
Step 1: Go to the sign-up pageYou can sign up for an Instagram account on either mobile or desktop. Instagram will ask you to enter your contact information (which is either your email or phone number), your full name, a username, and a password.
One common way to sign up for Instagram is through your Facebook account. But keep in mind that you will not be able to make an account using the same email or phone number as another Instagram account. Instagram will show a big red X to mark any incorrect information. You must create an account using an original username and cannot take one that’s already in use.
An important note here: while you can create a brand new Instagram on your desktop, Instagram is made to be mobile. That means it’s best to create Instagram posts from a mobile device.
When you create an Instagram account for the first time, you should be prompted to create either a personal or business page. Choose the business option—it’ll give you access to more analytics and the ability to pay to boost posts.
Step 2: Choose an original usernameYour username is one of the most important elements to choose. Your username is different than your full name! Your full name appears at the top of your biography section and should reflect your personal or business name. Your username will be big and bold on your profile and should be a play on the full name of your business.
But with roughly one billion users already on Instagram, it can be tricky to come up with a recognizable username that’s available to use. It may take some brainstorming!
Here are a few things to keep in mind when developing an original Instagram username:
Instagram usernames are not case-sensitive. @HANDLE will be the same as @handle. However, you should make the username you choose accessible by capitalizing the first letter of each word,
Avoid using numbers, dashes, or dots. These characters are hard to read and make your account resemble a spam account. If you must, use an underscore between each word instead.
Try to keep it simple. You don’t need to have a long username to be effective.
Ideally, your user handle should match your other social media accounts. That’s not always possible (because someone else may have your handle) but this brand consistency can help you be discovered by your audience on any platform.
Make sure you spell it correctly! If you spell your words wrong or include typos, it makes your brand seem unprofessional and makes it difficult for people to find you.
What do you do if your ideal username is already taken? Simply add a small alteration. This is a great time to add a keyword to your username that you can rank for. For instance, if your business is called “Sugar Mama Sweets,” adding the word “Bakery” will help you rank in results.
Some brands and individuals will even add the word “official” to show that they are a genuine account. This is very common with celebrities, but anyone can do it. Instagram usernames have a limit of 30 characters, so make the ones you choose count.
Step 3: Optimize your Instagram nameInstagram’s algorithm searches the words in your Instagram bio and name fields every time someone makes a search on the platform. Optimizing your Instagram bio and name ensures that you pop up in those results.
Here are a few examples of keywords that you could add to your Instagram name field:
Try adding the name of your occupation. If you’re a doctor or therapist promoting your services, add those words to your profile. Likewise, if you’re an author, mechanic, or chef, add that information!
Try adding a keyword about the service you provide. If you create graphic design templates, try a keyword like “Graphic Designer” or “Social Media Templates.” If you’re a BBQ chef, add keywords targeted to the food you create like “Vegan Chef” or “BBQ Brisket.”
Step 4: Optimize your Instagram bioWriting an Instagram bio for the first time will take some creativity. Think about the first impression you want to leave.
Here are a few quick tips on how to optimize your Instagram bio:
Use emojis sparingly. While emojis are fun, they don’t help with search optimization. Try using a few emojis to space out the different sections of your bio. You can also use emojis to call attention to your call to action (like how the Instagram bio example below uses the finger emoji to point to a free guide).
Ask people to give you feedback on your bio! They can give you honest feedback about the first impression they get from your profile.
In short, your Instagram bio needs to have the following elements:
A clear explanation of what your business does
A succinct tidbit about who the business services
A bit of personality that’s consistent with your brand
Get tips to adjust your business description for your Instagram bio here.
Step 5: Add a website to your Instagram profileUse the “Link in Bio” section to lead visitors to your website’s homepage, newest blog post, or even your portfolio of work. Guide potential customers to your email newsletter sign-up or a freebie giveaway promotion. The sky’s the limit!
The way you use the “Link in Bio” section depends on what you need it for. Here are a few examples of how professionals use Instagram:
A hairstylist may include a link to her website where clients can book an appointment.
A consultant may include a link to their Calendly where people can book a free consultation.
A journalist may include a link to their portfolio of work.
A news organization may link to its website homepage or its newest story.
A company may include a link to its newest blog post.
The options are truly limitless, so think about what you’d like to link to most. If you don’t currently have a website, you can create a simple Instagram link using Linktree, Koji, or Milkshake. However, if you already have an existing website, it’s better to create a social media landing page just for Instagram. That way your Instagram traffic will go directly to your website instead of a link list generator.
Step 6: Add your location to your profileIf you run a location-based business, it’s important to make sure your audience can find you. Turning on your Instagram location services will automatically create a location tag on all of your posts and stories, which can help people in your area discover your services.
Go back to the “Edit Profile” tab. Select “Profile Display.” Make sure that the “Display Contact Info” is turned on. This should turn on automatically when you enter your contact info, but check just to make sure. Then you’re done!
An important note: adding your location to your Instagram profile is currently only available for business accounts, not personal ones. Personal accounts can simply note their location in the bio section.
An example of a small business Instagram account with a location added to it.
Step 7: Add a professional profile pictureThey say a picture is worth a thousand words, and Instagram profile photos are no different! Instagram is a visually-driven platform, so the profile picture you choose will be under extra scrutiny.
Never leave your Instagram profile picture blank. Your account will look spammy, fake, and unprofessional with a blank profile picture. Avoid choosing photos that are pixilated, awkwardly shot or cropped, or out of focus.
Instagram profile photos are small and circular. Because your profile picture is a small image on the home page feed and on your profile, you should avoid adding lots of hard-to-read text to it.
Your profile photo can be anything you want, but if you need some ideas, we’ve got you covered:
Try using your small business logo when creating a new Instagram account. If you don’t have one, consider a high-resolution image of your product or storefront.
Step 8: Create your first Instagram postNow that you have the hard part over with, the fun begins! There are many strategies you can use when deciding what to post on Instagram first after making your new account. The important part is to get started. You can always refine your strategy later.
To create your first Instagram post, tap the square at the top right of your home page. Instagram will give you the option between creating an Instagram post, reel, story, or live video. For your first Instagram experience, creating a post will be easiest.
Need some ideas of what to post first? We’ve done the brainstorming for you!
As you continue posting to your Instagram account, make sure you adhere to community guidelines so you don’t risk getting shadowbanned. Find out what a shadow ban is (and how to avoid or fix it) here.
Step 9: Follow other people and brandsInstagram makes it really easy to find new people to follow. Use the search bar to search for related brands to follow or people you’re interested in. If you’re not sure who to follow, try searching hashtags that are relevant to your work.
The hashtags you use will depend on your business and interests. Hashtag options will pop up after you plug in your search terms, so start by searching common words.
Do some research to find what hashtags are common in your niche.
Local businesses often use the hashtag #SmallBusiness.
Look for businesses and people near you by hashtagging your city or town name.
Use keywords that are used in your field. For example:
Photography is often tagged with the words #Photography or #PhotoOfTheDay
If you own a bookstore, you might want to search for #books, #bookstore, or #Bookstagram.
If you love dogs, try #DogsOfInstagram or #PuppiesOfInstagram.
As you search and engage with Instagram posts, the Instagram algorithm will present posts it thinks will interest you. For example, if you like home decor or books, Instagram’s search page will be filled with results catered to book photography and bookshelf decor. The more you interact with your followers and social trends, the more your page will show up in results.
An example of posts you might find when searching for #shoplocal.
Step 10: Share your InstagramIf you’re already active on other social media marketing channels, let people know that you’re on Instagram too! Your audience will want to follow you on multiple channels. Promote your Instagram widely for maximized marketing ROI.
Any website you have (or create in the future) should include links to your social media profiles, including your new Instagram account. Some website themes even make it possible to have a revolving carousel of Instagram photos on your site. Take a look at other websites for inspiration on how to incorporate your social media into your site.

How To Make Money Online For Beginners
Making money online started a couple of years back, specifically when Blogging was at its peak, and that was the most popular way anyone could quit their traditional job, and make money by working from home. Fast forward ten years and things have changed drastically, and blogging is just one way to make money now. In this article, we are looking at multiple ways you can make money online. It caters to wider creators, and if you have a passion to work, and can ready to take a bit of risk, you can definitely make money online.
Ways to Make Money OnlineThere are various ways by which you can make money online:
Blogging & content generation
Affiliate marketing
Email marketing
Vlogging & Podcasting
Gaming
Social Media Influencer Marketing
Buy & Sell on Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.
Domaining
Website Flipping
Start an eCommerce site
eCommerce Product Reviews
Online Consultancy
Online Local Servies
Photography, Videography, Sketching & Image Selling Services
Miscellaneous.
Let us take a look at them in detail.
BloggingWhen blogging started, it used to be one man show. Now, you need to have a team if you want to run a successful blog or a website which talks about one particular topic or almost anything which is popular. A team means now a website can hire a number of writers.
Affiliate marketingThis is another field which can help you a good amount of money if done right. In affiliate marketing, you promote products and offers You get paid when somebody opts-in. Facebook Advertising is one of the biggest places where affiliate marketing happens. However, you will need a lot of time, money to experiment to make successful in long-term.
Email MarketingThis is a very popular way of making money where you can earn money by sending newsletters to your subscribers. There are many who would send out emails which are of high value and help readers. When they send out recommended product to buy or when they promote their own paid product it works like a charm.
VloggingAs internet speed got better, it became easier to consume different types of content. Video and Audio became the next big thing. YouTube is the most popular platform where you can upload product videos, talk about something which helps others with expression and adds more content. The same applies to Podcasts. You can start a paid subscription for your channel or podcasts to make money.
You can start your YouTube channel, sell your own composed music, provide video editing services to individuals or corporate using proper outreach, start a video series by running a webinar, teach online by creating videos for your skilled courses & sell it [e.g Udemy], start your audio podcast and ask to join paid subscription for upcoming series, become a Voiceover artist for corporate videos or Audio bookmakers, sell your video editing service and more. The money here is pretty good!
GamingIf you are good at gaming and finding out what is good and bad about the game, you can be hired by big publishers and maybe the company itself.
Social Media Influencer MarketingTwitter, Facebook, Instagram, I am sure you all have heard about it. You can be an influencer on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn. What you may not know about it is that you can make money from it. As you talk about things you are good at, you can gather more followers around you, and then you can get associated with brands, and promote them.
You can build a Facebook or Instagram page, get a good audience reach & engage in sponsored collaboration with brands for per post. You could even sell the social page!
Social Media will also need you to be creative. The way you talk about your experience, share photos and promote anything needs to leave an impression on your followers, and more to come. However, here comes a silver lining. It’s very easy to get lured by band offers. Its always a good idea to play fair, even if it means that growth can be slower for you.
Buy & Sell on Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.Its part of social media but on a different level. Facebook and eCommerce have come a long way. Not that I am asking you to start an eCommerce Portal, but you can buy and sell on Facebook especially if you have a shop. This way you can attract more customers, increase Facebook Likes, and so on.
Facebook offers templates for pages which allows you to set up a virtual shop, and you can leverage the power of social media to engage more customers through images, and competition.
DomainingIn the past few years, this has become a popular way to make money. You start with a domain and develop it for some time. When it starts generating revenue and can make decent money, you sell it for profit. The benefit here is you don’t get into the risk of maintaining it for a very long time, and if the traffic drops for that website later, you are not at a loss.
The second popular way is Buy and Sell Domains. You can keep a track on what could be the next popular thing, and buy domain names based on that. Later you sell it for a good profit.
Website FlippingThis is close to Domaining, but then its the second phase. A lot of people buy domains, improve it, make it rank better, and then sell it off. Many a time webmasters have a lot of domain in hand; they do not go beyond a certain point. This is effective than actually starting a website from scratch because one can kickstart at a low price with a website which is bit settled and improve from there.
Start an eCommerce siteStart your own local targetted eCommerce website to sell physical and online products (e.g., Amazon). Engage in Dropshipping (Shopify) or start your affiliate venture and have good sales.
eCommerce Product ReviewsI recently stumbled on this, and it’s very interesting. On websites like Amazon, and Flipkart there is an option which allows users to ask questions. I have noticed that people who have not bought the product also answer it. Apart from this, even if you haven’t bought a product, you can review them if you have personally used it. This opens a new market for those who can participate in this activity. Companies would usually send them the product; they can try it for some time and then share their review.
Online ConsultancyThis is not new and had been there since Websites, Content Creators and Search Engine, but they have come a very long way just like all other things. However, now they go hand in hand.
Websites are now developed keeping SEO and Content in mind. Those who have indulged into understanding Search Engines are now working with content creators and website developers to makes sure they are targeted well.
These are many who pose as SEO experts and offers services. You should gain real knowledge and then offer your services. If you are indulging any of these businesses, make sure you have a plan to stay updated and keep your services updated as well. You will not only have to build, but also keep gathering experience, and keep your clients for getting recommended.
Become Digital Consultant, Revenue booster consultant for existing online services, offer Local business consultation, become virtual assistant or tutor for business, etc. You can also sell Hosting services, Digital services like SEO, UI, UX, Web security audit, Build your own product/software/service to sell, offer Malware removal service for websites, offer Website testing, etc. These, however, are specialized services.
Online Local ServiesIf that sounds little odd to your ears, then it is. I have seen local service offered by Food counters, laundry services, carpenters, electricians and many more. Some of them have their app, while others offer their services through online sites like UrbanClap.
You could even become a community builder and networking person.
It’s a brilliant idea which not only pays more, but as labor is getting costlier and very tough to find, it has opened an opportunity for one to bring them together, and make good money.
Photography, Sketching, Videography & Image Selling ServicesIf you are a decent photographer, you can make money online by selling your photos to online services who buy them. You can sell your pictures on Shutterstock and other branded sites. There are tons of websites for that as they are bought by professionals who would like to put it on their website for a compelling story. You can make good money here.
Sites like Fiverr can help you earn online. You can sell you special skills here – maybe sketching, portrait painting and so on.
Miscellaneous
You can build and sell small tools (e.g., PDF-Doc converter, etc.)
Be an online travel consultant to manage people upcoming trip at a very effective cost
Use service like Craigslist, eBay or OLX to sell old products at your home
Rent your home online using Airbnb and similar services, etc.
Offer localized real estate consultancy via social media or your blog.
You need to be consistent to make money onlineWhile it covers a lot of areas which you can learn, and then make money online, there are many many more ways to do it. You have to find the right choice for you and experiment what works for you. That said, be ready for a venture with ups and downs. While Make Money Online has its charisma, just like any other business, it has its own up and down. Keep learning, adapt to changes, experiment, and you will find your way out.
Trust us when we say this – if you succeed, you will literally be rolling in money! However do remember, its all about consistency. The longer you stay in the field, the more the chances that your experience will pay handsomely.

How To Create A Walking Path: 8 Steps (With Pictures)
Guide visitors through your property by using walking paths. They will more likely go where you want them to go and avoid areas you’d rather they not be.
Have walking paths that allow you easy access to garden sheds and other utility areas.
Walking paths can lead to an outstanding feature or view. You can position a gazebo,an arbor or fountain at the end of a pathway. Try not to have paths that lead to nowhere.
Walking paths add beauty and visual interest to your garden. They tie your garden design elements together.
Use a measuring tape to calculate how much material you will have to purchase to pave your pathway.
Gently curving paths are visually appealing and interesting for the walker to navigate. Straight walking paths are good for very formal gardens. You might also keep the main access path wide and straight while allowing for smaller, curving adjoining pathways.
Use garden hose or some other material to lay out the shape of your pathway before you begin to dig or pave.
Allow 2 to 3 feet (0.91 m) (60 to 90 cm) in width for the average walker. For two people to walk side by side, the pathway width should be 4 to 5 feet (1.2 to 1.5 m) (1.2 to 1.5 m) wide.
Be sure the path is wide enough for a wheelchair or stroller if necessary.
Make certain your garden path can accommodate wheelbarrows, lawnmowers and other garden equipment.
Your walkways can be simple grassy lanes, made of elaborate stone or a combination of many materials.
Landscape pavers come in all shapes, sizes, colors and prices. Visit your local garden or building supply store to explore your choices.
There are many choices for natural stone as well although this material can be expensive. Flagstone is a good choice.
Stepping stones are a good idea if you part of your walking path is going to be on a slope. On a steeper slope, you can stabilize them with cement.
Think about using mulch or pea gravel for your garden walk. These materials are less expensive but also less durable and will need to be reapplied from time to time. Perhaps use these for less used paths and a more substantial product for your main walkway.
Concrete is a very permanent material to consider although it often looks less attractive than other choices. Stamped concrete might be an alternative. Be sure when using this material that you won’t want to change the location or direction of the path in the future.
Bricks and cobblestones can be used for your path. Or consider a combination of materials such as brick and concrete together.
Make sure the material you use for your walk will be safe. Ensure that the pathway doesn’t become slippery after a rain, for example.
Soften your path with attractive border plants and features such as statuary, large stones or bird feeders. The walking path can be a divider between various gardens.
Provide adequate lighting for walkers using the path at night. You can hard-wire your lights or use inexpensive solar lighting. Spotlights can be positioned in trees to add interest and beauty or placed where there are steps for safety. For occasional lighting to use for an evening party, for instance, use luminaries or string small lights along the pathway.
Clear the area where your path will go of plants and debris and consult with your local building supply center as to how to lay stone or concrete. You might think about using a weed barrier fabric before laying paving material.
