Psychedelics, also known as hallucinogenic drugs have been widely stigmatized as dangerous illegal drugs. But very little is really known about what these substances actually do to our brains.

AI analyses enabled algorithms to scour 6850 accounts of people’s experiences with 27 drugs to learn more about how they alter consciousness and to gain a better understanding of their subjective effects and how they work on the brain.Every psychedelic functions differently in the body, and each of the subjective experiences these drugs create has different therapeutic effects. Danilo Bzdok at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and his colleagues use natural language processing that allows search engines to work and is mentioned in “trip reports”. Advancements in AI have massively accelerated and optimized the process. AI researchers used to describe their trip experiences could lead to better drugs to treat mental illness. They linked with any of 40 receptors in the brain that the drug is known to interact with and mapped drug effects onto areas of the brain where these receptors are most active. They found it will aid in the design of new drugs for mental health disorders. The use of trip reports is valuable, complements traditional work, and is verified within carefully controlled clinical trials or other experiments. Randomized Al trials, which involve giving some participants a drug, others a placebo, and comparing the effects of both, are considered the gold standard. AI analyses over 6,000 written testimonials of psychedelics experiences from the Erowid Center, an organization that collects and provides information about psychoactive substances. AI approach could provide new starting points for drug development. The team of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York City integrated 6,850 written accounts of hallucinogenic drug users’ data with records of which receptors in the brain each drug is known to interact with. Together, these steps allow the team to identify which neurotransmitter receptors are linked to words associated with specific drug experiences. MindState Design Labs company’s ultimate goal is the development of new treatments for mental health disorders. But the company’s approach will focus more on individual receptors rather than groups of receptors. And also, Medicine Innovations Group is turning to artificial intelligence in its quest to develop the most effective psychedelic therapeutic drug offerings in the market. AI findings align with the leading hypothesis that psychedelics temporarily reduce cognitive processes involved in inhibition, attention, and memory, among others, while amplifying brain regions involved in sensory experience. Emerging in pharma almost in parallel, AI and psychedelics are natural partners.

We are going to learn 3D in after effects; what is 3D? It is nothing but 3 dimensions; if we can see any object at 360°, it’s called 3D; as we know, we can create 3D objects in 3D software like Maya, etc., but the fact is we can also create 3D particles and objects in After effects. We can also create 3D text in after effects, not only 3D particles we can also give light to the certain particles, to create a normal text or object into 3D we have an option in after effects once we add that 3D option we can rotate particular object or text as 3d particles.

How to Create a 3D Room?

Below are the steps to create a 3D room with 3D Effects in After Effects:

Step 1: Open a New Composition.

Step 2: Import a Texture Image.

Step 3: Import the texture image to the timeline; I have imported a Texture that looks like the wall because we will create a room.

Step 4: We need to make it as a 3D layer; we need to activate this symbol to the layer as shown in the below image.

Once we activate this symbol to any object or a text, it will convert into a 3D object, and we can move it at 360°

Step 5: Select the Rotation Tool; we need to rotate the wall sides ways to look like a wall.

Here we add 3D to the layer so the image can move in 360°.

Step 6: Now the wall is in 3D, we have the XYZ axis rotate, now the wall is on Y-axis, and with that, the wall rotates at the inside angle.

Step 7: Use the Selection tool to move the object. We need to hold Z-axis to push the wall on one side.

Here we created a sidewall, and we need to adjust the size and length of the wall now.

Step 8: With the help of the Selection tool, we need to scale and adjust the wall position.

Step 9: We need to create another side wall now; we need to make a duplicate of the wall.

Step 10: Move the duplicate layer to the right side and adjust the size and length of the wall, which is equal to the left wall.

Two walls got ready now we need to make the floor.

Step 11: Make another duplicate of the wall. With the help of the selection tool, the tool moves the duplicate wall to the middle.

Wall is in the vertical position now; we need to rotate the wall to fix it down as a floor.

Step 12: Select the Rotation Tool.

Step 13: We have three-axis here X, Y and Z; we need to hold X-axis to rotate horizontally; y and z-axis rotation won’t work in this situation.

In the below image, we can find the floor.

Step 14: Create the floor as a duplicate to create the Upper Sheet.

Step 15: With the help of the Selection tool, hold the Z-axis and move the floor up.

Now four sides of the walls got ready; we need to check the perfection of the walls with the help of the camera.

Step 16: Create a new Camera Layer.

In the above image, we can find the upper wall is not fix well; there is a gap between the walls.

Step 20: With the help of the selection tool, fix the upper wall equal to the side walls.

Now we need to create a back wall.

Step 21: Make a duplicate layer of the upper wall and move to the middle with the help of the selection tool.

Step 22: Select the rotation tool. Hold Y-axis and rotate the wall.

Step 23: Use the selection tool and hold the Z-axis and move the wall back.

Step 24: Here, we have taken the wall to the position, but it is uneven, so we need to scale the wall.

Here are 3D room is ready; we have set all five walls. Let’s check if all four walls are fixed correctly or not.

Step 25: With the help of the Camera, Rotate the room.

In the above image, we can find the right sidewall is not fixed well.

Step 26: With the help of the selection tool, fix the wall.

As we finish our 3D room, we need to add some light to make room attraction

Step 27: Create a new Light Layer.

Step 28: Give the values intensity 50. Cone angel 163°. Colour as you wish.

Step 29: We set alight inside the room.

Step 30: We can change the angle of the light if we don’t get the perfect lighting.

Step 31: We can do some color correction to make the walls looks attraction. Select a particular wall and Go to Effects, Colour correction and select Exposure and adjust the values.

Step 32: When we feel one light is not enough, we add another light with the same values.

Select every wall and adjust the color correction, adjusting the angle of lights to get the perfect lighting.

Step 33: We enter a Text inside the room.

Step 34: Decrease the Opacity of the text to get a real feel and add 3D to the text layer.

Step 35: We can see how the text moves according to the room.

Here’s How The Us Army Plans On Winning The Wars Of Our Future

As the Pentagon completes its withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Army wants to make sure that when it fights the next war, it does so on that future conflict’s terms. That’s part of the impetus behind two connected plans called Army 2035 and Waypoint 2028, which spell out the changes the Army needs to make to win the wars it expects to fight in the future.

As part of a continual review process, the US Army Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas identified four factors that the Army needs to address to meet its 2028 and 2035 goals. Taken together, a list of these factors, published by the Army on August 6, reveals what kind of war the Army anticipates fighting in the future.

The future of war is big

When the United States invaded Afghanistan in 2001, it did so with a few thousand troops. Between 2010 and 2011, the peak of US deployments, there were 100,000 troops stationed in the country, though that was relatively brief. In 2003, the US and the United Kingdom invaded Iraq with 125,000 troops, scaling up for an occupation afterwards. These numbers would fluctuate over the course of the wars, but with the exception of the initial invasion of Iraq, the troops were mostly used for the micro-battles of counter insurgency. Patrols, small raids, and the occasional shoot-out with insurgents located in one neighborhood or one city were the default of the war.

In reviewing Waypoint 2028, the Combined Arms Center looked at this legacy of dispersed, small fights, and found them lacking for the kind of fast-paced, interconnected battle the Army expects to fight against other militaries.

Two possible scenarios, outlined in a January document on doctrine, reveal how fighting a war at scale is different from fighting against an insurgency. The first is that, if the battle goes very well, soldiers may suddenly find themselves responsible for accepting the surrender of a large group of enemies. Collecting important information from detained enemies is an essential part of counter-insurgency, but that kind of questioning is simply not possible at scale when many people defect, and the Army would rather anticipate that outcome now, instead of losing something vital in the future.

Another change in future wars is that the Army will not always be able to rely on friendly air support overhead, which has been the default status of war in Afghanistan and since the earliest days of the war in Iraq. That might not be the case against an enemy nation, and soldiers should train for big wars with the understanding that the enemy might prevent air support, or even attack from the sky themselves.

The future of war is connected

War, as the Army knows it now, is already connected. Spotters on the ground can point laser target markers at enemy tanks, guiding the bombs dropped from jet fighters closer to the target. The spotters communicate by radio, and the guided bombs read GPS coordinates for more accurate strikes. This kind of attack involves military tools on land, air, and in space, as well as communication across the electromagnetic spectrum. Looking at all of these areas, or domains, together helps understand how each individual tool can be used in a broader war, by the US or by other nations.

To talk about this connectedness, the military uses the phrase “multi-domain operations,” which is another way to talk about tools connected to each other even when they aren’t physically attached. In addition to domains like sea, air, land, and space, or harder-to-see domains like cyberspace and the electromagnetic spectrum, these operations also take place in time, of course. Plus, communications connections are themselves a potential place for error.

Command and control, or the giving and following of orders, is vital for the Army to work together to win its battles. The communications channels used, for everything from GPS signals to radios to cell towers to orders shouted in combat, can be disrupted and attacked with jammers and intercepted with listening devices. That can lead to situations where soldiers are out of contact with each other and their commanders.

As part of its 2028 planning, the Army wants to make sure it can win fights spread out over time and distance, against an enemy willing and able to interfere with all the tools—like helicopters, satellites, and radio transmissions—that presently allow the Army to fight while spread out. 

Figuring out how to ensure that fight is a task for the future. The years 2028 and 2035 are still a ways off, and at present, the Combined Arms Center’s recommendation is to start training for wars of the future now.

Step 4: You can change the color of the background at any time. For changing the color of the background, select the composition layer. Go to Composition Settings at the composition option of adobe after effect.

Step 5: Or press Ctrl + K on the keyboard. A dialog box will be open.

We can see the drop shadow effect on Logo, Text or any object.  Here I will show you the shadow effect by using text, and after that, you can easily give drop shadow to any object by following the same steps.

Step 12: Here, you can see a drop-down shadow is activated with your text, and the parameter of this drop shadow is opened at the left section of the work area.

Step 14: By changing the direction of the shadow, you can change the angle of the shadow.

Step 15: Opacity means you can darken or lighten the shadow by changing its parameter.

Step 16: Soften option is used for making our shadow blur or smooth according to our use.

Step 18: Choose your desired color from here. We generally use black as a shadow color.

Step 19: If you want the only shadow of the text for any purpose, tick mark On the checkbox of the Shadow only option.

Step 21: Here, you can see all parameters of the drop shadow.

Step 23: Now, I will increase the distance of the shadow from the text by changing the data of direction.

Step 24: Now I will set the keyframe play head at 2 sec, you can set according to you.

Step 25: Now, I will take the shadow back to its original position.

Step 26: You can see the animation by playing it; press the spacebar key on the keyboard to play the animation.

You can animate more property of the drop shadow according to you. You can also give a drop shadow to any logo or object as well. In this way, you can add a drop shadow to your text and make an effective animation with a drop shadow.


In this way, you can easily animate your model for any purpose with a drop shadow. After having command on drop shadow, you will become more and more able to give your project an effective and interesting view for the viewer.
