If you are using an outdated version of Direct X, it can also be the reason for the fatal Dxgi error.

So, install the latest version of DirectX by following the steps as given below:

Wait for the download to complete, and then run the installer. Finish the installation process. After the installation is complete, restart your PC.

Now, run the game, and you should not get the error. If you still get it, install the Visual C++ redistributables.

Star Wars Jedi Survivors need Visual C++ redistributables to run like most programs.

So, install the Visual C++ redistributable and check if this helps fix the error. Follow these steps to do so:

Search for Visual C++ redistributables in Google.

Download the Visual C++ redistributables for 2023. Remember to download the correct architecture, like downloading x64 for 64-bit systems and x86 for 32-bit systems.

Radio Flyer Star Wars Landspeeder Review

Radio Flyer Star Wars Landspeeder Review

I had the opportunity to review the Radio Flyer Landspeeder (from Star Wars) this late Fall, and I must say: It’s pretty neat. It’s not the sort of thing you’d buy if you’re looking to roll out on the road – it’s not big enough for that. It’s not the sort of thing you buy if your kid is reckless – it is a vehicle, after all. This machine is, instead, the worlds most adorable Star Wars gift on wheels.

The folks at Radio Flyer have this electric childrens vehicle game down. They’ve been doing it since I was a kid, and they already made awesome machines back then. Coming from the most trusted name in red wagons, this “Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder” is just about the best brand connection Lucasfilm could have made for such a craft.

Below you’ll find the product specs for this electric vehicle. The machine is mostly put together in the box you’ll get when you buy it, and the parts you DO have to put together are extremely self-explanatory and simple. This machine took me about 20 minutes to set up, from unboxing to operational.

• Exterior (Overall) height/length/width: 22.75″/62″/40″

• Seat to pedal (range, from the front and back of seat): 11″-18″

• Product weight: 59.9lbs

• Package dimensions: 50″ X 30.25″ X 15.75″

• Package weight: 63.9lbs

• Wheel Dimensions: 7.25″ X 3.00″ (Front) / 8.5″ X 3.00″ (Rear)

• Distance from back of seat to the steering wheel: 15.5″

• Speed: 5 mph or 2 mph forward, 2 mph reverse

The battery for this vehicle lasts well over a half-hour session. I wouldn’t put it out of the realm of possibility that it’d roll for closer to an hour if we ever stressed it out to its full abilities. As it stands, my tiny test partners never wanted to keep driving for longer than a 30 minute session in a single afternoon.

Charging is done with a simple wire/power-plug included with the vehicle. I’ve left it plugged in overnight each time we’ve used the vehicle, and we’ve not yet run out of power.

I worked with two miniature family members of mine on this Landspeeder review. Before we moved the craft outside to pavement, we used it as the most decadent set of Star Wars movie-watching seats ever construed. For that, this Landspeeder is exquisite. It’s not particularly comfortable, but it is most certainly the most legit place to sit for watching A New Hope.

Once we had a few days without snow*, we fired up the engine and let ‘er rip. True to the specs word, this machine cruises at around 5 mph forward and 2 mph in reverse. This Landspeeder has a gear lever that switches between the two forward gears and one reverse – the slower forward gear is also 2 mph, just like the standard back.

*NOTE: We did indeed use this machine after it’d snowed out, which I do not recommend. Even though this vehicle isn’t meant for such conditions, it was still fully operational. It’s only when my test associates tried to drive up a steep incline that the vehicle, sort of, slipped a little. Otherwise it was a winner!

In the cockpit are a set of colorful buttons that activate sounds from the movies. In our tests, the sounds weren’t so extremely loud as to be heard by people outside the Landspeeder while the Landspeeder is in motion. These sounds were able to be heard by everyone inside the moving vehicle just fine. You can hear the whole collection of sounds over at Radio Flyer right this minute.

The detailing on the landspeeder could be better. For a kid, they’re amazing. They’re super fantastic and couldn’t be better. But for someone paying $500 USD for this vehicle, the details could stand to be a little more extreme.

The attention to detail in the mould is excellent. The dent up front, the grilles on the jets, the “cushions” on the seats – all of these are super great. If Radio Flyer wasn’t a brand that’d successfully been making and selling vehicles like this for a significant amount of time, I’d suggest the brand could improve the vehicle in a few minor ways. I’d add real cushions for the seats, I’d place a hidden compartment or two for power converters (Luke needs to store them somewhere,) and I’d make the back jet a bit more robust.

Star Wars Gifts: Holiday 2023

There were two places where this Landspeeder failed due to child-related stress. One was the back jet, which does not stand up well to a child of any significant amount of weight foolishly sits upon it. The other failure point is at the apex of the windshield. A rather small amount of pressure made a crack in ours.

Otherwise, this vehicle is a real piece of magic. There’s really nothing that can compare to having a tiny electric vehicle such as this in the childhood of a kid. This vehicle has real potential to be a memory-maker. This being a Star Wars Landspeeder only increases that likelihood.

If you’re considering buying this Radio Flyer Landspeeder now, you already know you’re willing to spend the $500 at which it’s priced. If you’re looking for a reviewer to push you one direction or the other, let me push you toward purchase. But ONLY if you’re buying this Landspeeder for a child. The idea that you’d buy this Landspeeder for yourself to ride around a comic book convention as a 30-year-old nerd person – that’s just nutty!

How To Make Airpods Sound Louder And Fix Low Volume Issue

I used almost a dozen wired Apple EarPods and have been using AirPods (since the first generation). I can assure you that with time (after around two years), almost all Apple earphones lower their sound output. However, if your new AirPods are facing a volume problem, it could be that their grills are blocked, or you have limited sound output. To help, I have rounded up a list of 12 solutions that will help make your AirPods sound louder and fix volume issues. Don’t be discouraged from trying them on your old AirPods too!

Note: The following solutions apply to all models: AirPods 1st and 2nd Gen, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max. Additionally, you must check these two things before moving to solutions:

Make sure the volume is turned up. When media is playing, press the volume up button several times from the device’s left side. You may also bring up the Control Center and drag the volume slider up, or summon Siri and ask her to set the volume at 75 percent or 100 percent.

Make sure AirPods are charged. You can learn how to check the charge status here.

1. Turn off iPhone’s Volume Limit and Sound Check

Open the Settings app in iPhone, scroll down, and tap Music.

Scroll to the bottom and turn off Sound Check.

If you see an additional toggle for Volume Limit, make sure to turn this off as well.

2. Turn off the equalizer

Launch the Settings app and tap Music.

Tap EQ.

Select Off.

3. Disable Headphone Safety on your iPhone

Open the Settings app and tap Sounds & Haptics.

Tap Headphone Safety.

Turn off the toggle for Headphone Notifications.

Next, turn off the switch for Reduce Loud Sounds.

Caution: I would urge you to take caution before tweaking the above setting. We must listen to music at a decent level. Prolonged use of any headphones at a high volume is risky. Thus, use the slider to adjust the decibels level instead (step 4).

4. Turn off Low Power Mode

Low Power Mode may be reducing the maximum volume output. And for a few users, disabling it has helped restore loud sound output. To turn off Low Power Mode, open the Settings app and tap Battery.

5. Calibrate the AirPods

One of the reasons why your AirPods volume is low is that your AirPods and iPhone may not be on the same page. For example, they may have a different meaning for ‘full volume,’ which could lead to AirPods not using the full volume. Here’s how you can calibrate the AirPods.

Make sure AirPods are connected to the iPhone and in ears. Now, turn the volume to zero. Use Control Center for this.

Next, disconnect the AirPods. For this, open the Settings app → Bluetooth → tap (i) next to the connected AirPods → Disconnect. Even after disconnecting, keep the AirPods in your ears. Also, go back to the main Settings screen and turn off Bluetooth.

Now, play music via the iPhone speakers. Again, use the Control Center to turn the volume to zero.

Finally, turn on Bluetooth and reconnect your AirPods. You may now adjust the AirPods volume as desired.

6. Adjust audio volume balance between the left and right pods

Open the Settings app and tap Accessibility.

Tap Audio/Visual.

Make sure the Balance slider is in the middle.

Observation: For some local tracks on my iPhone, when I enabled Mono Audio, it seemed to increase the volume, though the experience may not be delightful.

7. Turn off Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode on AirPods Pro

If you are using AirPods Pro or AirPods Max, turning off Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode might help. For this, open the Control Center and long-press the volume slider. You will see these options. Disable them.

8. Unpair and re-pair the AirPods

Open the Settings app and tap Bluetooth.

Tap (i) next to the connected AirPods.

Tap Forget This Device and confirm.

Now, keep the AirPods in their charging case. Restart your iPhone.

Finally, take out the AirPods from the case and pair them again with your iPhone.

9. Is the music or movie track to blame?

Do you own music that is downloaded from random places or converted from a video file and such? If yes, these tracks will most likely have inferior sound. In these situations, the culprit is the music file and not your iPhone or the AirPods.

Similarly, several YouTube videos might have lower sound. The same is the case with movies, and TV shows files. Try using the VLC app for .mp4, .mkv, and other video files.

10. Clean your AirPods

If the AirPods grills are full of ear wax or dirt, they will hinder adequate sound output. In this case, please use a soft cloth and a soft brush (or a toothpick) to clean the grills.

Did you know that your AirPods also receive updates (though they are not as frequent as iPhone)? To update it, put AirPods in the case → attach the case to a power source → pair the AirPods with your iOS device and keep them closer. Once set up, the AirPods firmware will be automatically downloaded and installed on your iOS device.

Note: Your iOS device must be connected to the internet.

12. Factory reset your AirPods

Finally, if nothing helps, it is time to reset your AirPods. This will bring them to an out-of-the-box state. You can learn how to reset AirPods (1st, 2nd gen, Pro) here. For AirPods Max, please see this.

Did you successfully make your AirPods sound louder and fix volume issues?

If your AirPods are around old, and you do not find any sound improvement even after following all the above solutions, that means it is time to keep listening at a reduced volume or invest in a new pair. Additionally, if you use AirPods with a non-Apple device, it is probable to notice some degraded sound levels.

I hope this guide helped to solve your problem.

Low Fps Or Fps Drops In Valorant? 11 Ways To Fix It

Are you annoyed with the sudden FPS drop while playing Valorant? Or are you troubled by constant low FPS in your game? Don’t worry, you might be able to fix it easily.

There are different reasons as to why your Valorant FPS drops. Whatever the cause is, we scoured the internet to bring you the sure-shot fixes so that you get a good FPS in Valorant.

So let’s look at the causes and fixes below.

Causes of FPS Drop on Valorant

There can be many reasons that give you a bad framerate on Valorant. You can take a look at the list below and see if some of them match your condition.

The game’s graphics settings set too high

Using skins with effects

Unstable network connection

Background applications hogging up the internet bandwidth

Unupdated game

Unupdated Windows and Graphics driver

Corrupt game files

Slow internet connection

Before moving on to the fixes, it is best to check if your system can run Valorant or not. You can compare your setup with the system requirement for Valorant below and judge if your PC is Valorant compatible.

Processor: Intel i3-370M or better

RAM: 4 GB or higher

OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

Graphics Card: Intel HD 3000 or higher

Pixel Shader: 3.0

Vertex Shader: 3.0

Fixing Low FPS / FPS Drop in Valorant

If your PC is not compatible with Valorant, maybe it is time to upgrade your system. But if it is, we can move on to try and fix the issue at hand.

There are some fixes you can try to solve the problem and omit the basic errors such as a minor bug, outdated software, etc. You can perform the following preliminary fixes and move on to other solutions if these do not increase your FPS:

Restart the PC Update Graphics Drivers

You might also be getting a lot of FPS drop if you have not updated the graphics card drivers. If that is the case, you can try the following steps using Nvidia’s GeForce Experience app and update the drivers.

You can also use the Device Manager to update your graphics driver. Here’re the steps:

Update Windows

There are users who solved the FPS drop issue by updating their Windows. To do so, you can:

Reinstall Your Game

One of the subtle reasons your FPS drops is if there was a minor error while installing the game. You can uninstall Valorant and install it again using the setup file from Valorant’s official website.

Please make sure that the process is fully complete before closing the installation Wizard or restarting your PC. Run the game afterward and check if the problem persists.

Change Game Settings

Material Quality: Low

Texture Quality: Low

Detail Quality: Low

UI Quality: Low

Vignette: Off

VSync: Off

Anti-Aliasing: None

Anisotropic Filtering: None

Anisotropic Filtering: 1x

Improve Clarity: Off

Bloom: Off

Distortion: Off

First Person Shadows: Off

Try to play a game with these settings and check if your FPS increases in Valorant. It is also best to remember that VSync is a feature that locks your framerate to an ideal number based on your hardware configuration.

If your graphics settings are already at low but your FPS fluctuates a lot, you can try turning on the VSync and see if it solves your problem.

Additionally, you can also lower the resolution as per your liking so that the game takes less toll on your graphics hardware.

Unequip Valorant Skin

Oftentimes, the Valorant Skins have their personalized animation for bullets, last kill, etc. Such effects can push your graphics card to the limits, especially if you are using low spec graphics.

If you have equipped skins, you can try unequipping them and check if your framerate becomes stable. To do so, you can:

Troubleshoot Your Internet

Some of the easy fixes you can try to troubleshoot your internet is to restart your router, change to LAN if you are using Wi-Fi, and disconnect other devices from the connection. You can also check if the internet is working properly by connecting to any webpage.

If your internet is not working, you can perform a troubleshoot via the Windows troubleshooter by following the steps below:

If you suspect your network adapter is not working, you can go to the troubleshoot settings and hit the Run button next to Network Adapters, and follow the popup window.

If that does not solve your issue, you can try connecting to the internet via a different device. If you still cannot access the internet, you may have to talk to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and check if the problem is on their end.

Close All Background Apps

If you have apps that run in the background, the chances are such apps are hogging up your bandwidth. You can use the Task Manager to close these apps.

Turn off Overlay

There are some cases where different app overlays affect the FPS of Valorant. If you have overlays for apps such as Discord, GeForce Experience, etc., you can try disabling them and check if your FPS becomes stable.

Enable VPN

If you are facing a lot of packet loss and high ping in Valorant, it may also be the cause of low FPS. You can use the premium VPN services available on the market to reroute your internet to a location close to the server you are playing on.

However, if you already have an active VPN connection, it may be best to disable it. The VPN may have rerouted your internet through an IP address with more traffic.

Talk to Your ISP

If you tried all the fixes above and are still getting low FPS, it could probably mean your internet is not fast enough. If that is the case, you may want to talk to your ISP and increase your internet speed if possible.

There are reports of users talking to their ISP about the packet loss in Valorant and the low FPS they are facing. In some circumstances. The ISPs were able to reroute your IP address through less traffic to the nearest Valorant server.

Hopefully, these fixes worked for you and you can play the game without any FPS drop.

How To Fix “Your Computer Is Low On Memory” Error On Windows 10

Memory Is Not Disk Space

In this case “Memory” does not refer to hard drive space. It refers to RAM (Random Access Memory). That’s the fast working memory of your computer and exists as physical microchips, separate from the hard drives that permanently store your operating system, apps and data.

Table of Contents

This means that to fix this issue, you need to free up your computer’s working memory. However, it’s also doesn’t hurt to free up some disk space too if you’re running low.

Close Unneeded Programs (or Browser Tabs)

The most obvious thing to do is close programs that you don’t need. You can do this the usual way by simply using the X button at the top-right of the Window. If the program isn’t responding, you can end it the brute force way.

Open the Task Manager by using any of the following methods:

Remember to save your work before you close anything important.

If your web browser (we’re looking at you Chrome!) is the big memory hog, try closing some tabs instead of the whole program. Also read our article on how to get Chrome to use less memory.

After you’ve closed the offending app, start it up again. It may use less memory after it restarts.

Sometimes memory management goes awry in a way that can’t be fixed by closing apps. In this case, simply restarting your computer may do the trick.

Check That Your Paging File Is Okay

When you get the low memory warning, it means that this safety net has also filled up completely. If the above measures don’t work, it’s worth adjusting your paging file.

Another option is Disk Cleanup. Windows includes a handy Disk Cleanup utility that can quickly take care of a full hard drive. If your paging file is being squeezed through a lack of disk space, it’s worth trying this:

Under the General tab, select Disk Cleanup.

Check all the types of files that you want automatically removed.

Select Clean up system files.

After the cleanup is complete, you can close the disk properties window.

Check for Malware

There’s a small chance that malware (viruses or spyware) is responsible for the “Your Computer Is Low on Memory” warning message.

To check for and remove malware, you need special software. Windows 10 has a built-in application known as Windows Defender. That’s good enough for most people, but if you’d like check out How to Scan for Malware in Windows 10 and How To Remove Stubborn Malware.

Check Your Minimum Requirements and Buy More RAM (Maybe)

If you’re getting low memory warnings with a specific application, make sure your system meets the minimum Windows 10 RAM requirements of the software you’re trying to run.

Allocate More RAM to Specific Apps

Sometimes you may not be running out of total RAM, but some applications may not be getting the RAM they need. Windows usually does a good job of prioritizing RAM, but you can manually override it if needed. Check out How to Allocate More RAM to Specific Apps in Windows to see how it’s done, along with related caveats.

Adjust Application Settings or Workload

Many programs can be tweaked to use less RAM. For example, Adobe Premiere Pro lets you adjust the maximum usable memory limit. This will free up memory for other apps.

Alternatively, you can reduce the amount of RAM an application needs by reducing the size of the data that it works with. For example, you might want to reduce the resolution of a picture or video that you’re trying to edit.
