FIFA 23 TOTY winner predictions

In previous FIFA TOTY, the nominees were announced over a 3-day period, with the attacking players last to be unveiled.

Voting then begins on the list of nominees before finally EA announced the FIFA 23 TOTY squad.

FIFA 23 TOTY goalkeeper prediction

Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid and Belgium) – While a lot could be said for France’s Hugo Lloris, Courtois was the MOTM in the Champions League final.

FIFA 23 TOTY defense predictions

Theo Hernandez (AC Milan and France) – Hernandez has been smashing it for AC Milan down the left and also played a crucial part in France’s World Cup exploits.

Marcos Acuna (Sevilla and Argentina) – He absolutely bombed up and down the wing for Argentina during the World Cup and fully deserves his spot in TOTY.

Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool and Netherlands) – A defensive genius who may not have had a great end to 2023 but is still considered one of the best in the world.

Achraf Hakimi (PSG and Morocco) – Morocco looked superb in the World Cup, as did Hakimi to boot, and fully deserves a spot.

FIFA 23 TOTY midfield predictions

Casemiro (Manchester United and Brazil) – Before moving to Manchester, he was the stalwart of Real Madrid and was one of the best defensive midfielders with Brazil in the World cup too.

Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City and Belgium) – Arguably the best midfielder in the world and the cornerstone of Manchester City’s success. Ok, Belgium had another shocking World Cup but De Bruyne is the main man in the premier league.

Luka Modric (Real Madrid and Croatia) – Despite Luka’s age he keeps on delivering and had another incredible year in 2023. Winning a Champions league is always impressive and seeing him dictate play on the World Stage never gets boring, an easy contender.

FIFA 23 TOTY attacker predictions

Lionel Messi (PSG and Argentina) – Maybe it is a bit cliche to put the GOAT into a predictions list but after the World Cup he had, it is hard to leave him out.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City and Norway) – Our wildcard prediction here, Haaland was the fastest in Premier League history to 20 league goals, no mean feat.

Kylian Mbappe (PSG and France) – You knew it was coming, Mbappe was always going to be in our predictions. Aside from being an all-out monster for PSG, he scored a hattrick in the World Cup final, resulting in the golden boot, amazing.

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid and France) Our 12th-man prediction goes to Benzema, who was unbelievably good in PSG’s Champions League campaign.

Fifa 23: Extended Gameplay Trailer

FIFA 23: extended gameplay trailer

Where to watch the FIFA 23 extended gameplay trailer and what to expect

We finally got our first extended look at gameplay and what is in store for us going into FIFA 23.

The reveal was ten minutes of unseen footage and showed off everything we can expect from FIFA 23, that releases on September 30th this year.

According to the release schedule above we shouldn’t expect more information until August, and we expect a late August reveal for FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team.

HyperMotion2

FIFA 23 progresses further with the technology that was introduced last year with the introduction of HyperMotion2. This is the foundation of the gameplay for the next-gen consoles.

The way this is done on FIFA 23, is by recording two full matches with two professional teams, as well as completely capturing the women’s teams as well.

For FIFA 23, they have also recorded training drills to try and capture as many unique animations as possible. This has allowed them to have twice as many as they did in FIFA 22.

According to EA, these have all helped to make the gameplay experience more immersive and unique from moment-to-moment.

In FIFA 23, women’s club teams will be playable for the first time and by using the HyperMotion2 technology, they have been able to ensure they feel completely unique, and different to the men’s sides.

Women players will have their own unique run styles much like the men do in the game, three different types of movement archetypes as well as animations completely unique to the woman’s teams. These include: Shots, kick-offs, celebrations, jockeys, passes, dribbling and more.

Dribbling

Dribbling has been overhauled with the introduction of Technical Dribbling. This is the default dribbling style that can be done using the left stick on the controller. All players have this available to them but it will work best with the best players.

In FIFA 23, EA are saying there will be more personality with how a player dribbles with the ball, as well as the unique run styles.

The example given was Vinicius Jr running with the ball is completely different to him running without it. This could make for some great variation in FIFA 23, as well impact players’ values.

In order to combat the improved dribbling, EA have worked on improving the Jockeying in the game too. This is to try and ensure that you can still prevent a top class player from getting around you.

The jockeying in FIFA 23, will look more realistic and fresher than it ever has done before.

Movement

Movement as been overhauled in FIFA 23, with three new types of player acceleration types:

Controlled: Majority of players will be controlled and they will accelerate in a normal way.

Explosive: This is likely to be the most terrifying going into FIFA 23. These players will be shorter and more agile, covering short distances very quickly, but they will also slow down quicker too.

Lengthy: These are the taller, stronger players. They will take more time to get going, but once they do they can be quicker over long distances.

Power Shots

Power shots are something we have heard about for quite some time in FIFA 23. They will be high risk, but high reward. Your aim will need to be more precise, and they will rely on the player’s aim completely.

Set Pieces

Redesigned completely. Composure bar is different now on penalties, now a circle around the ball that shrinks closer to the ball as you choose how to take it. They look like they could take some getting used to.

The focus now is less about placement, and more about timing power as well as placement.

Freekicks are also completely different, you can now choose where you are to strike the ball, before you choose where you wish to place it.

This should allow for greater variation with things like spin and the way the ball travels. Draft excluder is now in the game for defending set pieces too, which is a nice addition.

Skill moves

Left footed skills are more accurate than before, fake shots improved, stutter feint skill move, heel fake and then ball roll new skill. There appears to be many more new skills coming to the game too, for those players who love to play with that extra sauce.

If you would like to watch the trailer then it is just here for you.

Stick around after too as we take a good look at everything we learned about FIFA 23.

Fifa 23: Ultimate Team Reveal

FIFA 23: Ultimate Team Reveal

What to expect from the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team reveal

Okay… here we go. The official reveal for FIFA 23’s Ultimate team is now live for us to feast our eyes on.

What we know so far

The main things we know so far are about the new, shared, market on Ultimate Team. The introduction of cross play on FIFA 23 means we will now see the Ultimate Team market shared on the below platforms:

The only exception is going to be Switch and PC. These markets will continue to operate in the same way they did in previous years.

READ MORE: All we know about FIFA 23’s Pro Clubs

What’s new

A new game mode will be Introduced that relies on creating moments. This where you can re-create new moments from the previous weekends.

There will also be challenges to complete too, these will be things like score with your keeper and more.

The reward for these will be stars, a new currency coming to the game that you can collect and spend on what you want. These will drop in seasons and will come gradually depending on the challenge. All of these will be new single player games and are more bitesize than playing a whole game.

Positional links have gone in chemistry, so chemistry has been overhauled, but it will now rely more on ensuring your player is playing where they are supposed to.

There will now be chemistry ratings between 1-3 and this will be impacted by other players in the squad.

Another huge difference is players will have secondary positions for those who do play in multiple positions. The example given is Cancelo who can play at left back or right back, all you need to do is apply a position modifier and you can from there.

Crossplay will be about being on the same console generation, so PS5 players can play against Xbox Series players.

The market will also be completely shared, as well as the leaderboards in the game.

Stadium upgrades are also being overhauled, with new animated tifos and medals to decorate your ground with. We assume these will be earned by completing challenges like in FIFA 22.

The World Cup was confirmed to be coming to Ultimate Team in FIFA 23, but we will have to wait for another announcement before we hear more as they were very coy in the announcement.

You can check out the trailer for yourself here:

Icons and Heroes

We are also expecting to see new Icons come to the game, as well as new Heroes.

It’s still unknown which new Icons will be coming, all the information we currently have is just rumours and hearsay, but they are pointing towards some pretty special players. The rumoured players are:

Gabriel Batistuta (Argentina) – FUT Icon

Rudi Voller (Germany) – FUT Icon

Gerd Müller (Germany) – FUT Icon

Xabi Alonso (Spain) – FUT Icon

Jairzinho (Brazil) – FUT Icon

There’s already more information on the Heroes. We know they are going to tie into a World Cup promo, so that will be December time, and we also know to expect Yaya Toure, Claudio Marchisio, Park Ji-Sung and Carvalho.

Although it’s been suggested some of the Icons will be downgraded to Heroes in FIFA 23.

READ MORE: The Old Lady returns in FIFA 23

If the accidental announcement by EA is also to be believed, these cards are likely to tie in with a crossover event with Marvel.

We also know chemistry will be done in a new way in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team, but that is sort of all we know. There are rumours suggesting how it will change but hopefully the big reveal will clear all of this up.

Fifa 22 High Ping Issue On Pc

Are you facing a high ping issue in FIFA 22 on your Windows PC? Here is a complete guide to help you fix the high ping issue in FIFA 22. FIFA 22 is one of the most popular and loved football simulation video games by Electronic Arts. However, while playing the game, a lot of gamers reported experiencing a high ping issue due to which they were unable to play the game smoothly. Now, if you are one of the affected users facing the same problem, you can find the fixes in this post.

Why am I experiencing High Ping in FIFA 22?

Here are the potential causes of high ping in FIFA 22:

The issue could be triggered because of overheating or overloading of your router and modem. If the scenario is applicable, perform a power cycle on your router and modem to get rid of the problem.

Another reason for the same issue could be an unstable or weak internet connection. So, you can try optimizing your internet connection to fix the problem.

Inconsistency with your DNS server can also be one of the reasons you are facing high ping in FIFA 22. In that case, you can try switching to a more reliable DNS server e.g., Google DNS to resolve the problem.

It could also be caused due to your outdated network drivers. Hence, try updating your network driver to fix the problem.

If you have too many bandwidth-hungry programs running in the background, you are likely to face the issue at hand. So, close the unnecessary background programs to avoid the lag issue.

The corrupted DNS cache and other network settings can also cause the problem. So, flush the DNS cache to fix the issue.

Now that you know the scenarios that might trigger the problem try the below-mentioned fixes to eliminate the issue.

Fix FIFA 22 High Ping issue on PC

Here are the solutions you can try to fix the high ping issue in FIFA 22 on Windows 11/10 PC:

Restart your system and game.

Check your internet connection.

Update your network driver.

Change Power Management settings for your network.

Perform a power cycle on your networking device.

Flush DNS cache.

Set up Google DNS.

Close background apps.

1] Restart your system and game 2] Check your internet connection

It could be your internet connection which might be the main culprit that you are facing a high ping issue in FIFA 22. Hence, test your internet connection and make sure that you are connected to a stable and high-speed (good for gaming) internet connection. We recommend you use a wired connection as gamers prefer it over a wireless connection for better gaming performance. You can set up ethernet and see if the problem is resolved or not.

But, if you want to use a wireless connection, you can optimize your internet connection using the below tips:

Try detecting and fixing WiFi issues on your Windows PC.

You can also disconnect all other devices connected on the same networks to avoid bandwidth throttling.

You can check your internet speed and see if it is good enough for online gaming.

If your internet connection is not at fault, try the next potential fix.

3] Update your network driver

The issue could also be triggered because of your outdated network adapter drivers. Hence, if the scenario is applicable, go ahead and update your network driver to fix the issue.

You can also use the Device Manager app to keep your network adapter drivers. Apart from that, the official website of your device manufacturer can also be used to download and install the latest version of your network drivers. If you want to automatically update your network drivers, try free third-party driver updater software.

Once your network driver is updated, restart your PC and then launch FIFA 22 to see if the problem is resolved.

4] Change Power Management settings for your network

If the above solutions didn’t work, try changing power management settings for your network and see if it works for you. Here’s how to do that:

Firstly, press Win+X and select Device Manager from the shortcut menu.

Next, from the appeared context menu, select the Properties option.

After that, in the Properties window, go to the Power Management tab.

Then, make sure the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option is unchecked.

See if this helps you fix the problem.

See: Fix Warzone High Ping or Lag Spike on PC.

5] Perform a power cycle on your networking device

The next thing you can do to get rid of the high ping issue in FIFA 22 is to power cycle your router/ modem. If there is a network issue due to a bad router cache, this should fix the issue for you. Here’s how to perform a power cycle on your router:

Firstly, turn off your router and then remove its power cords from the main switch.

Now, wait about a minute or so, and then connect the power cord back to the switch.

Next, turn on your router and then reconnect your PC to the internet connection.

Finally, launch FIFA 22 and check if the problem is gone or not.

If the problem is still not resolved, check out the next potential fix to resolve the problem.

6] Flush DNS cache

The issue at hand could be a result of the bulked-up DNS cache. Hence, you can try fixing the problem by flushing the DNS cache and resetting network settings. Here’s how to flush the DNS on Windows 11/10:

Firstly, launch the Command Prompt with administrator rights.

Now, enter the below commands in CMD one by one:

ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip reset netsh winsock

Once all the above commands are executed successfully, close CMD and see if the problem is resolved or not. If the issue still persists, you can try the next potential solution to resolve the problem.

Read: League of Legends ping spikes on Windows PC.

7] Set up Google DNS

You may also consider setting up a more reliable DNS server on your PC to fix the issue. The problem might be caused due to DNS inconsistency. Hence, this method would fix the problem for you. You can try changing to the Google DNS server:

Firstly, tap on the Windows + R hotkey to evoke the Run dialog box and enter chúng tôi in it to bring up the Network Connections window.

Next, select the Use the following DNS server addresses button and enter the below addresses in the respective fields: Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

After that, select the Use the following DNS server addresses option and write the following addresses in their respective fields: Preferred DNS server: 2001:4860:4860::8888 Alternate DNS server: 2001:4860:4860::8844

Finally, try relaunching the FIFA 22 game and see if the problem is resolved or not.

8] Close background apps

That’s it!

Now read: There is a problem with your game’s setup in FIFA 22 or FIFA 21.

Why is FIFA 22 so laggy?

FIFA 22 might lag on your PC if your system doesn’t meet the minimum requirements to play the game. Apart from that, outdated graphics drivers, a VSync error, and an incorrect DirectX version can be other reasons for FIFA 22 being so laggy.

How do I fix high ping on FIFA 22?

To fix the high ping issue in FIFA 22, you can try optimizing your internet connection, power cycling your router, or updating your network adapter driver. Besides that, you can also try closing bandwidth-hogging programs, flushing the DNS cache, or setting up a Google DNS server. We have discussed these fixes in detail below, so check out.

Cod Vanguard Weapon List: Leaks, Beta Weapons, Confirmed

CoD Vanguard Weapon List: Leaks, Beta Weapons, Confirmed

We have created a Call of Duty Vanguard Weapon list for all rumoured and confirmed weapons.

Call of Duty Vanguard is building momentum ahead of its November 5 launch. Many players have had the opportunity to play the Alpha, Closed Beta, and now Open Beta, with the beta currently extended. One of the things those who have played the betas have managed to do is get their hands on the CoD Vanguard weapons, along with trying a few maps (and stare at overly bright suns) and report bugs. Due to this, we can now compile all a CoD Vanguard weapons list.

As for what you can expect in the CoD Vanguard weapons list, you will see the weapons in the beta. along with some leaks showcased ahead of the weekend. The leaks go into detail on many more maps, weapons and other content to come for the game’s full launch.

We have included a confirmed section on the weapon list to differentiate between leaked weapons and weapons in the betas. Be aware that the leaked weapons have descriptions too that are in the same style as the weapons in the game. Take them with a pinch of salt, and we will update the article when we know more at launch. If you’re interested, you can find the leak megathread here.

New Playstation Plus Release Date, Pricing & Confirmed Games

We outline all you need to know about the new redesigned PlayStation Plus service – the Xbox Game Pass competitor – right here, including pricing, confirmed games and what each new tier will provide.

When was the new PlayStation Plus released?

Sony revealed the new revamped PlayStation Plus service on 29 March 2023, but it wasn’t due to be released until June 2023 in most countries. While Sony initially kept tight-lipped on when exactly we’d see the new service launch, the company later confirmed that the new PlayStation Plus would launch first in Asia on 24 May 2023, followed by Japan on 2 June, the Americas on 13 June, and finally the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on 23 June.

How much does the new PlayStation Plus cost?

As rumoured prior to launch, Sony’s new PlayStation Plus service is split into three tiers.

That starts with Essential, which is essentially the equivalent to PS Plus as it currently stands, and as such, it’ll cost the same at £6.99/$9.99 per month or £49.99/$59.99 per year.

The next step up is the Extra plan, which will cost £10.99/$14.99 per month or £83.99/$99.99 per year, and nets you a library of PS4 and PS5 titles available to download.

For those that want the ultimate PlayStation Plus experience, the Premium tier is the one to go for. Essentially a combination of PS Plus and PS Now with cloud functionality, it comes in slightly cheaper than the current combined prices for the services at £13.49/$17.99 per month and £99.99/$119.99 per year.

The good news is that, according to Sony, it’ll be easy to switch between the various tiers at any time – you just need to “pay the difference between the current plan and your new plan, adjusted for the remaining time of your subscription” according to an email from Sony.

What does Sony’s new PlayStation Plus offer?

So, what does the new PlayStation Plus subscription offer that’ll allow it to better compete with the popular Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service?

As mentioned, the new service is split into three tiers – Essential, Extra and Premium – ranging from a package that’s essentially PlayStation Plus as we know it currently to a combination of PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now with cloud gaming capabilities.

PlayStation Plus Essential

While you still get access to online multiplayer, exclusive discounts and cloud storage for game save files, you only get two free games per month instead of the three games currently offered.

It’s also the tier that existing PlayStation Plus subscribers were automatically moved to at launch in June.

PlayStation Plus Extra

The next step up in Sony’s new subscription service is PlayStation Plus Extra, which nets you the same benefits as the Essential plan with an extra added benefit: a large library of games to play.

While the games in the service differ between regions, Extra subscribers get access to a library of “up to” 400 PS4 and PS5 titles, including both first- and third-party releases, and these can be freely downloaded to consoles at any time. Given the £5/$5 difference between the Essential and Extra tiers, that’s not a bad trade-off – though it depends on the games available.

Ubisoft has also confirmed that its Ubisoft+ subscription service is now available on PlayStation with its 27-title Ubisoft+ Classics collection available to PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium members at no extra charge.

PlayStation Plus Premium

The top-end plan in Sony’s new offering is PlayStation Plus Premium, boasting a combination of PS Plus and PS Now including cloud gaming capabilities and even backwards compatibility.

While you aren’t able to play your own classic PlayStation games, Sony is offering the same 400-game PS4 and PS5 game library as the Extra tier along with an additional 340 PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and PSP games. Crucially, unlike the Extra tier, you’re able to cloud stream these titles to your console, negating the need to wait for the game to download – simply select it and play right away. Like the Extra tier, it also comes with a subscription to Ubisoft+ Classics.

In regions where PS Now game streaming isn’t currently available, it’s dubbed PlayStation Plus Deluxe and it comes at a slightly cheaper monthly cost.

An additional benefit comes in the form of time-limited trials that allows subscribers to try “select” games before they purchase.

Which games are coming to the new PlayStation Plus?

A large library of on-demand games spanning the various generations of PlayStation sounds great, but what games specifically are a part of the service? While the full list will depend on your region, Sony has confirmed some titles available as part of the service.

PS4 & PS5 Game Catalogue

If you’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium, you’ll get access to the following confirmed titles (and more):

Classic Games Catalogue

Those subscribed to the top-end PlayStation Plus Premium can access a library of classic titles, including a library of original PlayStation & PSP titles:

Ape Escape

Hot Shots Golf

Will the new PlayStation Plus get new games on release day?

One of the biggest features of Microsoft’s Game Pass Ultimate is the ability to play platform-exclusive titles at release for no extra cost, and it’s the big feature PlayStation gamers are hoping for too.

However, a chúng tôi interview with SIE boss Jim Ryan from September 2023 suggests that might not be the case.

Layden questions the long-term prospects of Microsoft’s Game Pass Ultimate business model, stating that “it’s very hard to launch a $120m game on a subscription service charging $9.99 a month”.

Doing the math, the former exec suggests that “you’re going to have to have 500 million subscribers before you recoup your investment” and explains that “if you only have 250 million consoles out there, you’re not going to get half a billion subscribers”.

That’s seemingly backed up by Sony itself, which outlined the kind of games you should expect on the service on the PlayStation Blog. “At launch, we plan to include titles such as Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal” – all games that are at least a year old, if not older.

The good news is that new content should be added fairly regularly, with Sony “working closely with our imaginative developers from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners to include some of the best gaming experiences available with a library that will be regularly refreshed”.
